Nine-Hour Battery Claims Are Gone, 10 Phones Now Push 200 MP and 144 Hz

The smartphone market in Mei 2026 is no longer separating premium features from affordable prices as cleanly as before. Specs that once stood out only on high-end phones, including a 200 MP camera, 144 Hz displays, and even a 9,000 mAh battery, are now appearing across a much wider price range.

That shift makes buying a new phone more complicated, but also more interesting. Buyers looking at Rp2 jutaan devices can now find long battery life and fast screens, while higher-end models are pushing harder on photography, gaming, and all-day heavy use.

Battery capacity is becoming a major selling point

Among the most attention-grabbing models, iQOO Z11 stands out with a 9,000 mAh battery and 90W fast charging. Vivo T5 also takes an aggressive approach with a 7,200 mAh battery and 44W charging.

Other models focus on endurance in more practical ways. OnePlus Nord C6 Lite offers a 7,000 mAh battery and bypass charging, which sends power directly to the system during gaming. Realme C100i is also in the spotlight with a 7,000 mAh battery, a 120 Hz screen, and a MicroSD slot.

200 MP cameras are no longer limited to ultra-premium phones

The camera race has changed just as quickly. Vivo X300 Ultra brings a 200 MP main camera with Gimbal OIS, a 200 MP periscope camera, a 50 MP ultrawide camera, and ZEISS collaboration.

Motorola Moto G87 joins the discussion with a 200 MP camera and OIS in the midrange. Oppo Find X9 Ultra goes even further, pairing a 200 MP main camera with a 200 MP periscope for 3x zoom, a 50 MP periscope for 10x zoom, and a 50 MP ultrawide camera.

Even lower-priced phones are packing stronger daily-use specs

The competition remains intense in the Rp2 jutaan to Rp3 jutaan segment. Poco C81 Pro offers a 6.9-inch 120 Hz display, a UniSOC T7250 chipset, a 6,000 mAh battery, and reverse charging.

Vivo T5 also fits that crowded middle ground with Snapdragon 6S Gen 2, a 120 Hz display, a 32 MP selfie camera, and a 7,200 mAh battery. Realme C100i stays relevant for everyday use such as WhatsApp, TikTok, and YouTube because its storage can still be expanded.

Fast and bright screens are joining the spec race

Display performance is another area where phones are moving up a level. Motorola Moto G87 uses an AMOLED panel with brightness reaching 5,000 nits, while Oppo Find X9 Ultra carries an LTPO AMOLED 2K 144 Hz screen with 3,600 nits of brightness.

Infinix GT 50 Pro brings an AMOLED 144 Hz display with 4,500 nits of brightness and Gorilla Glass 7i protection. OnePlus Nord C6 Lite uses an IPS LCD 144 Hz panel with 1,000 nits of brightness, and iQOO Z11 also comes with an AMOLED 144 Hz screen to support its performance-focused positioning.

Flagship performance still comes down to chipset and memory

At the top end, processing power and storage remain key differentiators. Vivo X300 Ultra and Oppo Find X9 Ultra are both powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and offer RAM up to 16 GB.

Vivo X300 Ultra also provides storage up to 1 TB using UFS 4.1. Infinix GT 50 Pro uses Dimensity 8400 Ultimate with 12 GB RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, while Motorola Moto G87 comes with Dimensity 6400 and RAM up to 12 GB.

Gaming-focused options now have clearer identities

Some phones are aimed more directly at gamers and heavy users. Infinix GT 50 Pro includes wireless charging and bypass charging, while iQOO Z11 is positioned for hardcore gaming with its 9,000 mAh battery, Snapdragon 7S Gen 4, and RAM up to 12 GB.

Poco C81 Pro is better suited for light gaming and social media, while Motorola Moto G37 appears as a budget 5G option with Dimensity 6300. That mix shows how 5G access and safer everyday performance are becoming easier to reach without moving into the flagship tier.
