Realme is preparing to bring the P4R 5G to India on June 10 at 12 pm IST, and the phone’s biggest attention grabber is not its design or camera. It is the 8,000mAh battery, a capacity that stands well above what most mid-range phones offer today.
Realme says that battery can last up to three days on a single charge. That claim places the P4R 5G among the more stamina-focused devices in its segment, with the company clearly aiming at users who value long runtime above all else.
Battery life is the headline, but charging is still fast
A large battery alone does not tell the whole story here. Realme has paired the 8,000mAh cell with 45W fast charging, so the phone is not designed to spend too long plugged in.
The device also supports bypass charging, reverse charging, AI-based power management, and a battery health engine. Realme says the battery health engine is built to keep battery health above 80 percent even after several years of use.
Cooling support is part of the package
To keep performance stable during heavy use, Realme has included a 5,300 mm² vapor chamber. The cooling system is meant to help control temperatures during gaming and other demanding tasks.
That detail fits the overall direction of the device. Realme appears to be targeting users who need endurance for everyday use, but also want a phone that can handle more intense sessions without overheating as easily.
Display and design move in a new direction
On the front, the P4R 5G uses a flat display with a 144Hz refresh rate. Realme also claims a peak brightness of up to 1,200 nits, which should help outdoor visibility.
The phone introduces a new design language called Floating Light. It is paired with customizable Pulse Light and an AI Power Light system, turning the lighting elements into more than just decorative touches.
Realme says the lights can also work as notification indicators. They are meant to signal incoming calls, music playback, gaming activity, and other alerts.
Performance, memory, and software
Inside, the P4R 5G runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 6300. When it launches, the phone will ship with Android 16 and Realme UI 7.0.
Realme has also confirmed 256GB of internal storage. In addition, the phone supports Dynamic RAM of up to 14GB, which should help with multitasking.
These specifications show a clear positioning. The P4R 5G is aimed at users who want a long-lasting device for daily tasks, entertainment, and heavier workloads in one package.
Camera and durability
At the rear, the P4R 5G carries a dual-camera setup led by a 50-megapixel AI main sensor. Realme is using that system as the main photography highlight for the device.
Durability is another key part of the pitch. The phone has MIL-STD-810H durability certification and an IP65 rating for dust and splash resistance.
Those two certifications give the device added appeal for buyers who care about physical resilience. Realme is clearly trying to present the P4R 5G as more than a big-battery phone.
Colors and availability
When it arrives, the P4R 5G will be offered in Titanium Glare, Silver Glare, and Lavender Glare. The three finishes give the phone different visual identities while keeping the light-based design theme intact.
After its debut in India, the phone will be sold through Flipkart and Realme’s official online store. With the launch date set and its key specifications already revealed, the 8,000mAh battery remains the feature most likely to draw the strongest attention ahead of June 10.
