Honor Magic V6 Pre-Orders Open in Malaysia and Singapore, Global Rollout Draws Near

Honor’s foldable flagship is moving closer to a wider release, with pre-orders for the Magic V6 now open in Malaysia and Singapore. That early sales push is the clearest sign yet that the phone’s global rollout is nearing, especially for buyers outside China who have been waiting for official availability.

The launch window is expected to extend beyond Southeast Asia soon, with Honor saying the Magic V6 will also arrive in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and other regions in the near future. For now, the two early markets offer the strongest preview of how Honor plans to position its latest foldable at the premium end of the market.

Malaysia gets a high-value pre-order package

In Malaysia, the pre-order period runs from June 4 to June 11. Honor has set the Magic V6 starting price at MYR 7,700 and will offer it in Red, Gold, White, and Black.

The company is also attaching a large pre-order bundle worth MYR 3,800 for Malaysian buyers. That package includes 2-year Worry-Free Quality Assurance and 1-year Worry-Free Crack Protection, with orders available through Honor Malaysia.

Honor is also keeping the previous Magic V5 on sale in the country at a lower price than before. The older model originally launched in Malaysia at MYR 7,000, but it is now said to have dropped to MYR 6,000.

Singapore adds a broader retail push

Singapore’s pricing is set at SGD 2,600 for the Magic V6, and the pre-order bonus there is valued at SGD 1,088. Early buyers in the market will receive 1-year protection for both the inner and outer displays, along with a DJI Osmo Action 6 as an added bonus.

Honor is not limiting sales to its own official channel in Singapore. The Magic V6 will also be sold through partner carriers and a wider retail network, and Honor is directing customers to its official site for the full list of participating sellers.

That broader distribution approach suggests Honor wants the device to reach more buyers quickly once sales begin. It also places the Magic V6 in a different pricing tier from the Magic V5, which launched in Singapore at SGD 2,200 and is now said to be down to around SGD 2,000.

A clearer handoff from Magic V5 to Magic V6

The pricing gap between the two generations makes the upgrade path easy to read. Magic V5 had already earned a positive reception and even picked up an Editor’s Choice badge, so attention around its successor is understandably strong.

Honor has already shown the Magic V6 in Europe at MWC, and it then released the phone in China about a week later. With review units already available and full testing still ongoing, the device is now stepping into the phase where launch details matter more than teaser appearances.

Honor has not shared the full specifications in this update, but the phone is firmly positioned as the company’s newest foldable flagship. The combination of premium pricing, country-specific bundles, and wider distribution plans points to a staged rollout designed to build momentum before the device reaches more regions.

For consumers in Malaysia and Singapore, the pre-order period serves as the first concrete sign of what the global launch will look like. For everyone else, it suggests the wait for official regional availability is almost over.
