Boat Expands Into Grooming, Slazer K100+ and K100 Pro Bring Ceramic Blades and IPX6 Protection

Boat’s Slazer lineup marks a clear move beyond the company’s familiar audio and accessory business, and the most attention naturally falls on the two higher-spec grooming kits: Slazer K100+ and Slazer K100 Pro. Both models lean on ceramic blades and IPX6 water resistance, giving the series a more premium profile for everyday grooming.

That positioning matters because Boat is not entering personal grooming with a single basic trimmer. The company has introduced three models under Slazer, covering different needs and budgets, while placing K100+ and K100 Pro at the center of the range for users who want more features and a more solid build.

Two premium kits, two different use cases

Slazer K100+ is designed as a 6-in-1 grooming kit. It supports beard, hair, nose, and body grooming through interchangeable attachments, making it the more compact multi-purpose option in the pair.

Boat equips the K100+ with a ceramic blade, an aluminum body, and a magnetic attachment system. It also includes a battery indicator display, a travel lock, and up to 200 minutes of use on a single charge.

Slazer K100 Pro follows the same premium formula but expands the package further. It is positioned as a 15-in-1 grooming kit for users who want more flexibility and a wider set of grooming options in one device.

Shared hardware, broader package

The K100 Pro keeps the same core elements found in the K100+. It still uses a ceramic blade, an aluminum construction, IPX6 water resistance, magnetic attachments, and USB Type-C charging.

Boat also offers extra accessories depending on the selected variant. Buyers of the K100 Pro can get either a stand or a travel kit, depending on which package they choose.

The ceramic blade is one of the most important differences across the Slazer range. Combined with the aluminum body, it gives both models a sturdier and more premium feel than a typical entry-level trimmer.

IPX6 water resistance adds another layer of practicality. With that rating, the devices are built for use in wet conditions, which fits users who want grooming tools that are easier to handle in daily routines.

How the Slazer range is structured

Boat’s entry into grooming is broader than just the K100 series. The Slazer lineup also includes the S100, which sits below the premium kits as a simpler everyday option for users who want straightforward trimming at a lower price.

The S100 offers up to 300 minutes of battery life on a full charge and supports fast charging. Boat says five minutes of charging is enough for one trim, while 20 minutes of charging is claimed to provide use for up to one month.

It also uses a stainless steel blade, adjustable combs, washable attachments, and USB Type-C charging. Boat includes a 24-month warranty with the model as well.

Pricing and positioning

Boat prices the Slazer K100+ at Rs 1,799. The Slazer K100 Pro starts at Rs 2,999, while the version with a travel kit is priced at Rs 3,299.

That pricing places the K100+ as the more accessible multi-grooming option, while the K100 Pro targets buyers who want more attachments and a more complete package. The S100, by contrast, is listed at Rs 799 and serves as the budget entry point for the series.

Taken together, the Slazer range shows Boat trying to cover multiple grooming needs at once, with the K100+ and K100 Pro carrying the brand’s most premium features in the lineup.
