Galaxy A27 Returns In Mint, Samsung’s Midrange Launch Looks Closer Than Ever

Samsung’s Galaxy A27 is starting to look increasingly close to launch, and the latest leak adds a new color that had not appeared in earlier renders. The fresh appearance of Awesome Mint gives the midrange phone a more complete color lineup and adds to the growing sense that Samsung is nearing an official reveal.

The new render was shared by Mohammed Khatri (@Mohammed_K_2010) on X, showing the Galaxy A27 in a pale green finish. With that addition, the device is now said to be associated with four color options: Awesome Black, Awesome Blue, Awesome Mint, and Awesome Pink.

A familiar Galaxy A design language

Even with the new color treatment, the Galaxy A27 does not appear to be taking a radical turn in design. The leaked render points to the same flat-sided frame Samsung has used across the Galaxy A family, along with a centered punch-hole display and a vertical triple-camera layout on the back.

That consistency suggests Samsung is keeping the phone visually aligned with its current midrange identity. The main change, at least for now, seems to be in the color palette rather than a full redesign.

More signs point to an imminent launch

The Galaxy A27 has already surfaced in the FCC database in the United States, and it has also appeared on Geekbench. Those sightings usually indicate that a device is moving through the final stages before announcement.

Samsung has not confirmed the model yet. Still, the steady stream of leaks is making the phone’s profile clearer, especially as more hardware details continue to emerge.

Expected display and camera setup

Several earlier reports point to a 6.7-inch full-HD+ display on the Galaxy A27. The panel is also said to support a 120Hz refresh rate, which would make scrolling and general motion feel smoother.

On the camera side, the phone is expected to feature a 50-megapixel main camera. That sensor is also said to include optical image stabilisation, or OIS, which should help with steadier photos and video.

Performance, battery, and storage details

Under the hood, the Galaxy A27 is rumored to use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset. If that holds true, the phone would represent a noticeable step up from the Galaxy A26.

The battery is also becoming clearer in leaks. The device is said to carry a 5,000mAh battery with 25W wired charging, while memory options are expected to go up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

Software could be a key selling point

The software package may also help the Galaxy A27 stand out in the midrange segment. It is reportedly set to launch with Android 16 and Samsung’s One UI 8.5.

Samsung is also rumored to offer several years of software and security updates for the device. While the exact duration has not been specified, that direction matches the company’s broader push to extend support across more of its lineup.

For buyers in the midrange category, long software support is becoming increasingly important. Combined with Android 16, One UI 8.5, and the newly leaked Awesome Mint finish, the Galaxy A27 is shaping up to be one of Samsung’s more closely watched upcoming A-series phones.
