Logitech has introduced Mobi Fold, an ultra-compact foldable mouse aimed at mobile workers who want a more comfortable way to control a laptop or tablet without carrying a full-size accessory. In a market where portability often wins, the device takes a simple but unusual approach: it folds down small enough to fit in a pocket.
The company sees a clear gap between owning a mouse and actually using one outside the office. Logitech says 72% of computer users own a mouse, but only 26% use one when they are away from the office.
Built for work on the move
Mobi Fold is designed for people who work from cafés, hotels, home offices, and client sites. Logitech argues that many users default to a trackpad not because they prefer it, but because carrying a mouse feels inconvenient.
The foldable mechanism lets the pocket-sized device open into a form that is more comfortable for longer sessions. Logitech also says mouse use, compared with a laptop trackpad, can reduce muscle strain by up to 22% based on its internal research.
Productivity features for daily use
Mobi Fold includes Adaptive Touch Scrolling for more precise navigation through long documents and spreadsheets. It also has two customizable buttons that can be set through the Logi Options+ app for shortcuts such as switching apps or taking screenshots.
The mouse can connect to up to three devices via Bluetooth. Its compatibility covers Windows, macOS, ChromeOS, Android, iPadOS, and Linux, making it easier to move across different platforms without repeated setup.
Logitech also says the mouse supports automatic connection when taken out of a work bag. In practice, that means a user can remove Mobi Fold, unfold it, and start working almost immediately.
Durability and travel-friendly design
Beyond its compact size, Mobi Fold is built for everyday travel use. Logitech says the internal hinge is designed to last up to 15 years of daily use, and the mouse has also passed drop testing.
The device includes silent clicking for use on the move, along with a dust-resistant silicone cover that helps protect the body. Logitech says the design is meant to stay practical without compromising durability.
Business version and sustainable materials
For corporate customers, Logitech offers Mobi Fold for Business. The business model includes a limited two-year hardware warranty, a Logi Bolt USB-C receiver for secure and reliable wireless connectivity, and Sync support for simpler IT monitoring and deployment.
Logitech also highlights the product’s material choices. The Graphite version uses up to 36% certified post-consumer recycled plastic, while the magnets use 100% post-consumer recycled rare-earth metals.
The packaging is made with FSC-certified paper as well. Logitech presents these details as part of the product design, not as an afterthought.
Price and availability
Mobi Fold will be sold globally in Graphite, while Lilac and Off White will be available only in select markets. Pricing is set at $79.99, £69.99, and €79.99 through Logitech’s website.
The business version is priced at $89.99, £74.99, and €84.99 through Logitech’s official B2B channels. With that positioning, Logitech is clearly targeting users who want to stay productive while moving between places, without carrying a conventional mouse that takes up more space.
