OnePlus has expanded its Turbo lineup in China with the launch of the Turbo 6X and Turbo 6X Pro. The Pro model is the clear attention-grabber, combining a 144Hz OLED display with an 8,000mAh battery and a more complete camera setup.

The two phones are aimed at different buyers. The Turbo 6X Pro targets users who want a large battery, AMOLED-class visuals, and stronger imaging, while the standard Turbo 6X keeps a 144Hz display but leans on LCD to stay more accessible.

Turbo 6X Pro focuses on endurance and speed

The OnePlus Turbo 6X Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Super and uses UFS 3.1 storage. It carries a 6.78-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2772 x 1272 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 144Hz.

The panel also reaches 1,400 nits in full-screen mode and peaks at 3,600 nits. OnePlus adds Always-On Display support and 3,000Hz instant touch sampling to sharpen responsiveness.

The biggest headline remains the 8,000mAh battery. OnePlus pairs it with 80W fast charging, 80W UFCS support, 55W PPS, and bypass charging.

For photography, the phone uses a 16MP front camera. On the rear, it carries a 50MP OV50D40 main camera with OIS alongside an 8MP ultra-wide sensor.

The feature list is unusually broad for the class. It includes an in-display optical fingerprint reader, dual stereo speakers, NFC, Bluetooth 5.4, infrared remote control, a flagship-grade gyroscope, Wi-Fi 5, and IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings.

The standard Turbo 6X keeps the 144Hz formula

The regular Turbo 6X uses the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 SUPER and a 6.72-inch Full HD+ LCD panel with a 144Hz refresh rate. That makes the display the clearest difference from the Pro model, which moves to OLED.

Its camera hardware is simpler, with an 8MP front camera and a rear setup made up of a 50MP OV50D40 main sensor and a 2MP depth sensor.

Battery capacity drops to 7,000mAh, but the phone still supports 45W fast charging. Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, IP64 dust and water resistance, ColorOS 16, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and a plastic frame.

Pricing keeps the series competitive

The Turbo 6X starts at 1,499 yuan for the 8GB+128GB version. The 8GB+256GB model costs 1,699 yuan, while the 12GB+256GB variant is priced at 1,999 yuan.

Color options for the standard model include green, white, and black. That positioning gives it a wider appeal for buyers who want a larger battery without stepping into the Pro tier.

The Turbo 6X Pro begins at 1,699 yuan for the 8GB+128GB configuration. OnePlus also offers 8GB+256GB for 1,899 yuan and 12GB+256GB for 2,199 yuan.

Its color choices are Heart’s Desire Orange and Racing Black. With a starting price that sits close to the standard model, the Pro becomes the more compelling pick for buyers who want OLED, an ultra-wide camera, and the 8,000mAh battery.

OnePlus keeps the focus on a narrow but clear market

With the Turbo 6X series, OnePlus is leaning heavily on high refresh rates, large batteries, and a clear split between LCD and OLED. The differences in screen technology, imaging, battery size, and durability define the two models more than anything else.

For now, the series appears to remain exclusive to China. That means availability outside the market has not been announced.
