OnePlus appears ready to broaden its reach with a new smartphone line aimed at a far more affordable price bracket. The company is reportedly preparing a series positioned around Rp3 million, a notable shift for a brand long associated with premium and upper-mid-range devices.
This move could make OnePlus more accessible to buyers who have wanted to enter its ecosystem without paying flagship-level prices. It also signals a sharper push into a segment where price sensitivity usually leaves very little room for error.
A lower entry point for the OnePlus ecosystem
The most important detail is the expected price positioning. The upcoming device is said to cost below 20,000 rupees, or around Rp3.7 million, which would place it well below the company’s current most affordable options.
At the moment, OnePlus’ lowest-priced devices are still found in the Nord CE line, but those models remain in the Rp4 million range. If the new series arrives at the reported price, it would create a new entry door for users who have not considered OnePlus before because of budget limits.
July could be the key month
Reports suggest that OnePlus is preparing to introduce the N Series in July 2026, with India expected to be the first market. That timing matters because India remains one of the most competitive smartphone markets in the world.
The company would be stepping into a crowded field where aggressive pricing often decides visibility. In that environment, even a well-known brand must prove that its value proposition is strong enough to stand out.
Competition will be intense

That separation would fit OnePlus’ current product structure. The Nord line has moved closer to the premium mid-range space, while the N Series could serve as the company’s more affordable entry-level path.
