HP and Ferrari have turned a laptop into something closer to a collector’s item than a standard work machine. The Limited Edition Scuderia Ferrari AI PC combines a supercar-inspired design, premium AI hardware, and an asking price of US$5,599, or around Rp90 jutaan.
Only 4,999 units will be produced worldwide. That limited run immediately places the device in an exclusive category aimed at collectors, Ferrari fans, and buyers looking for a statement product.
Design built with Ferrari in mind
HP says the laptop’s design was developed with Ferrari over nearly two years. The goal was to reflect the identity of the Maranello-based brand rather than simply attach a Ferrari badge to an existing device.
The chassis uses precision CNC-machined aluminum and Ferrari’s signature Rosso Magma finish. On the underside, HP combines carbon fiber with Corning Gorilla Glass to reinforce the automotive theme.
Through the transparent panel, users can see part of the internal cooling system. HP says the concept takes inspiration from the glass engine covers found on modern Ferrari supercars.
The cooling system itself uses more than 2,000 micro-holes in the glass layer, along with three-dimensional vents designed to improve airflow inside the machine.
The palm rest is made entirely of glass, paired with a haptic touchpad that features interactive edges and lights up during use.
Premium AI performance inside the Ferrari-themed body
For performance, the laptop is powered by an Intel Core Ultra X7 358H processor and an Intel Arc B390 GPU. HP says the combination is designed for next-generation AI computing with processing capability of up to 180 TOPS.
That level of performance is intended to support local AI workloads without relying entirely on cloud services for certain tasks. HP is positioning the device as a premium machine for users who want advanced on-device AI features.
The display is a 3K Tandem OLED+ touchscreen, which HP says offers high brightness, deep contrast, and more accurate color reproduction.
The premium feel continues with per-key RGB keyboard lighting that can be customized. The feature reinforces the laptop’s identity as a high-end product that blends function with visual flair.
Exclusive details from unboxing to security
HP has also created a special unboxing experience for the device. The laptop comes in a box that automatically lifts the machine when opened.
As part of the package, HP includes an exclusive leather sleeve from Poltrona Frau. The Italian luxury furniture maker is also known for supplying leather materials used in various Ferrari models.
On the security side, HP equips the machine with HP Wolf Security for Business. The hardware-based protection is intended to help safeguard user data.
The Limited Edition Scuderia Ferrari AI PC will be available starting June 12 through HP’s official sales channels in several markets. Those markets include the United States, Australia, the United Kingdom, and selected countries in Europe and Asia.
