A mysterious vivo device carrying the model number V2545A is drawing attention after appearing on Geekbench with strong signs pointing to MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500. The listing has quickly sparked speculation that the phone could be among the first to use MediaTek’s next flagship chipset.
Its exact market identity is still unresolved, but the clues have pushed many observers closer to the iQOO camp than the regular vivo line. That uncertainty now sits at the center of the discussion as benchmark data and certification records start to align.
Benchmark clues point to a flagship MediaTek chip
Geekbench data shows V2545A posting high performance results with a configuration that matches a new MediaTek platform. While the chipset name is not stated directly, the CPU layout, GPU details in the metadata, and the MT6693 model code all point toward Dimensity 9500.
If that identification is correct, the device would serve as one of the earliest public showcases for the chip. It also reinforces expectations that Dimensity 9500 is close to reaching the next wave of Android flagship phones.
100W charging appeared earlier in certification records
Before its Geekbench appearance, V2545A had already surfaced in China’s 3C certification database in April. That filing revealed support for 100W fast charging, a feature usually associated with performance-focused smartphones.
The charging capability makes the device more interesting because it fits the profile of a phone aimed at heavy users. Fast charging of that level is often favored by gamers and multitaskers who want shorter downtime between sessions.
vivo or iQOO remains the main question
The biggest unresolved detail is the final branding. vivo has already confirmed that its next foldable, the vivo X Fold 6, will use Dimensity 9500, which keeps the possibility open on the parent brand side.
At the same time, iQOO is said to be preparing the iQOO Neo 11S as an updated follow-up to the iQOO Neo 11, which previously used Snapdragon 8 Elite. The combination of a flagship chipset and 100W charging makes V2545A feel especially close to that iQOO direction.
Why the device matters in the flagship race
Should V2545A launch with Dimensity 9500, it would enter a crowded and increasingly competitive Android flagship field. MediaTek’s next-generation chip is expected to bring gains in CPU and GPU performance, power efficiency, and generative AI capabilities.
That is why the device is attracting so much attention even before its official name is known. For now, V2545A remains a rumor-backed model with enough technical evidence to keep both vivo and iQOO watchers alert.
