Samsung Tab A11 Plus Packs DeX and 25W Charging Into a Rp3 Million-Class Tablet

Samsung has pushed the Galaxy Tab A11 Plus into a segment where low-cost tablets usually make the most compromises. At a price of 250 USD, or around Rp3.9 million, the device stands out by adding productivity features that are often reserved for higher-priced models.

The most notable surprise is Samsung DeX, which turns the tablet into a desktop-style interface with a taskbar at the bottom. On top of that, the company has paired the device with faster charging, larger base storage, and more generous memory than its predecessor.

More headroom for everyday use

The base Galaxy Tab A11 Plus now starts with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. That is a clear step up from the previous model, which was limited to 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage.

For users who need more space, Samsung also offers an 8 GB and 256 GB version. The top configuration additionally supports 5G, while microSD expansion remains available up to 2 TB for files, study materials, and entertainment libraries.

DeX brings a desktop feel

With Samsung DeX and One UI 8.5 based on Android 16, the Galaxy Tab A11 Plus can switch into a windowed workspace where apps can be minimized and layered. That makes the tablet more suitable for light productivity than a typical entry-level slate.

The combination of 6 GB of RAM and the desktop-style interface should help with multitasking in everyday scenarios. Samsung says use cases such as watching YouTube, writing documents, and opening Chrome at the same time can run smoothly without major issues.

Faster charging changes the rhythm

Battery support is another area where the Galaxy Tab A11 Plus moves ahead. The tablet now supports 25W Super Fast Charging, which cuts down the wait time significantly compared with its predecessor.

Samsung says the battery can last up to 8 hours of screen-on time under heavy use, including video playback, work, and light gaming. Charging can reach 42% in 40 minutes and finish in about 1 hour and 20 minutes, while the older model needed roughly 2.5 hours to refill.

Not everything is premium

Even with those upgrades, Samsung still leaves out a few features to keep the price in check. The tablet does not include an official S Pen, and users who want stylus input must rely on third-party options without palm rejection.

The camera setup is also modest, and the absence of a magnetic pin for a physical keyboard helps explain how Samsung keeps the device in this price bracket. Still, the Galaxy Tab A11 Plus looks unusually capable for a tablet in the Rp3 million range.

For school, college, and light work, the Galaxy Tab A11 Plus offers a combination that is not common in this class. DeX, larger base memory, and faster charging give it a sharper edge over many rivals, including tablets that cost more.
