Galaxy S26 Ultra Crosses Rp31 Million, Samsung’s Anti-Spy Screen Becomes the Biggest Draw

Samsung has positioned the Galaxy S26 Ultra as a flagship built for users who move fast, create content, and value privacy in public spaces. The most attention-grabbing feature is its Privacy Display, which turns the screen into a harder target for side glances.

The technology uses optical encryption on the panel. From the front, the display remains clear, but from the side it appears dark, making sensitive messages and data much harder to read.

Privacy becomes a practical selling point

That approach is aimed at people who often work on public transportation, in coworking spaces, or in crowded areas. In those settings, Samsung is treating screen privacy as more than a convenience feature and more like a response to everyday data exposure risks.

Ilham Indrawan, MX Product Marketing Senior Manager at Samsung Electronics Indonesia, said the new features on the device are designed to support a dynamic digital work ecosystem. He also noted that the latest operating system uses AI optimization to give users direct control over visual output and personal data security.

Night photography and steady video for creators

Camera performance is another major pillar of the Galaxy S26 Ultra. Samsung has equipped the device with the latest Nightography system, which uses a large sensor to keep photos and videos sharp, low in noise, and rich in color detail in very low light.

The phone also includes Photo Assist in the built-in gallery. The feature allows users to adjust color, reframe compositions, and remove distracting objects without installing a separate editing app.

For video, Horizontal Lock is designed to keep recordings stable even when the user moves quickly. The system combines an accelerometer, a gyroscope, and Optical Image Stabilization, or OIS, so the image stays level even when the phone is shaken or rotated sharply.

Samsung says this combination matters for creators who often capture spontaneous moments in the field. Low stage lighting and motion while filming are among the challenges the company says can interrupt the documentation process.

Fast charging and pricing across three storage tiers

Beyond privacy and imaging, the device also includes an adaptive power system with fast charging support. Samsung says the battery can charge from empty to 75 percent in 30 minutes.

The Galaxy S26 Ultra has been sold through the company’s official website and physical retail network across Indonesia during June 2026. It comes in three storage options with official prices listed below.

Variant Price
12GB/256GB Rp24.499.000
12GB/512GB Rp27.499.000
16GB/1TB Rp31.999.000

The top configuration is the one that pushes the Galaxy S26 Ultra past Rp31 million. With an anti-spy display, low-light imaging, extreme video stabilization, and fast charging, Samsung is clearly aiming at users who place privacy and productivity at the center of their phone choice.
