Asus has brought the ROG Zephyrus Duo to Indonesia with a price tag of Rp129.799.000, placing the laptop firmly in the premium gaming category. Its most distinctive feature is the pair of OLED screens, a setup that is still uncommon even among high-end machines.
The company says the device is the world’s first and only dual-screen gaming laptop. That positioning is backed by internal research showing that 62.2% of users rely on multi-screen configurations, whether through external monitors or multiple devices at once.
Built for heavy multitasking
Asus designed the Zephyrus Duo around users who need more screen space for work and play. The main display has grown from 15 inches to 16 inches, while the dual-screen mechanism has been refined so the gap between the panels feels tighter when opened.
Both displays use 16-inch OLED panels with touchscreen support. The screens offer 3K WQXGA+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, a 0.2ms response time, and Corning Gorilla Glass DXC protection.
Flexible modes and detachable keyboard
The laptop uses a trapezoidal hinge that can fold up to 320 degrees, enabling five usage modes: Laptop Mode, Dual-Screen Mode, Share Mode, Tent Mode, and Book Mode.
At 2.82 kg, the device is not built to be lightweight, but Asus adds flexibility through a detachable magnetic keyboard. The keyboard can be removed and attached again as needed, and it automatically recharges when it is docked back onto the laptop body.
High-end performance for demanding tasks
Inside the Zephyrus Duo is an Intel Core Ultra 9 386H processor with three types of intelligent cores. The system also includes an NPU capable of 50 TOPS for AI workloads.
Graphics are handled by a GeForce RTX 5090, while the overall platform performance reaches up to 1,874 TOPS. Asus says this combination is aimed at demanding work such as rendering, AI processing, and real-time 8K video crubbing.
The laptop also includes Omni Virtual Assistant, an on-device smart assistant that works offline and remains responsive directly on the machine.
Cooling and long-term protection
To manage heat, Asus equips the ROG Zephyrus Duo with ROG Intelligent Cooling, Liquid Metal on the processor, a Vapor Chamber, and a Graphite Nano Insulated Sheet. The nano-graphite layer acts as a two-way thermal shield between the motherboard and the lower OLED panel.
Its purpose is to spread heat horizontally so extreme temperatures from internal components do not damage the OLED panel and reduce the risk of image retention. Asus also includes 2 years of International Warranty, VIP Perfect Warranty for accidental damage, and Asus Premium Service for all ROG products.
For now, the dual-screen gaming laptop is available exclusively and in limited quantities through the Asus Online Store.
