Casio has started selling four G-Shock Bold Camo watches in the United States, and the collection leans heavily on one idea: familiar toughness wrapped in a more striking visual package. The green camouflage pattern and gold accents are the main draw, while a free camo pouch is included during the promotion period.
The US rollout is more compact than the earlier Japan release, which featured six models. Even with only four variants, Casio still covers a wide range of G-Shock styles, from classic digital to analog-digital and a metal-bezel option.
Design comes first in this lineup
Casio did not change the core G-Shock formula for this series. The watches still offer shock resistance and water resistance up to 200 meters, but the visual treatment is where the Bold Camo concept stands apart.
The camouflage pattern is printed across the resin strap and bezel, and the G logo is hidden inside the motif. Gold treatment appears on selected details, including the dial, hands, and bezel surfaces depending on the model.
Four models, four different price points
| Model | Price | Key Points |
|---|---|---|
| DW-6900CMG-3 | $145 | Classic digital 6900 shape, stopwatch, countdown timer, multi-function alarm, LED backlight, CR2016 battery, about 5-year battery life |
| GA-700CMG-3A | $165 | Analog-digital format, 57.5 mm case, gold-colored vapor deposition on dial and hands, world time for 31 time zones, hand-shift function |
| GA-V01CMG-3A | $210 | Analog-digital format, CR2025 battery, about 10-year battery life, dual LED lighting for analog and digital areas |
| GM-6900CMG-3 | $280 | Digital functions like DW-6900, stainless steel bezel, polishing finish, gold-colored ion plating, partial laser etching for camouflage pattern |
The most affordable model is the DW-6900CMG-3 at $145. It keeps the familiar digital layout of the 6900 series and focuses on essential functions rather than visual complexity.
Above it sits the GA-700CMG-3A at $165, which adds an analog-digital layout and a larger case. Casio also uses gold-colored vapor deposition on the dial and hands to reinforce the premium look.
The GA-V01CMG-3A costs $210 and shifts the emphasis toward battery longevity. Casio says its CR2025 battery can last around 10 years, and the model also includes dual LED lighting for clearer visibility.
At the top of the range is the GM-6900CMG-3 at $280. It keeps the digital approach of the DW-6900, but replaces the resin bezel with stainless steel and finishes it with polishing and gold-colored ion plating.
A more premium finish without changing the mission
The GM-6900CMG-3 also handles camouflage differently from the others. Casio applies partial laser etching directly to the metal surface, giving the pattern a more premium appearance.
That contrast is what defines the collection: the same G-Shock durability, but with layered visual cues that make each model feel distinct. For buyers, the choice is less about a new function set and more about which design direction fits best.
Casio is now offering the full lineup through its official website and standard retail channels in the US. The result is a collection that keeps the brand’s familiar rugged identity while adding camouflage, gold detailing, and one of the clearest visual refreshes in the current G-Shock catalog.
