Realme P4x 4G Brings 8,000mAh Battery, but Stays on 4G for the Price

Realme has launched the P4x 4G in select global markets with one headline feature that is hard to ignore: an 8,000mAh battery. The phone pairs that unusually large capacity with 45W fast charging, making endurance the main story rather than connectivity upgrades.

That positioning sets it apart from the Realme P4x 5G, which arrived in India more than six months earlier. Instead of chasing faster mobile data, the new model leans into long battery life, a 120Hz display, and a lower entry price in Malaysia.

Battery capacity takes center stage

The 8,000mAh battery is the clearest reason the Realme P4x 4G stands out. Realme also includes 45W SUPERVOOC charging, giving the device a practical balance between huge capacity and faster top-ups.

For context, the earlier Realme P4x 5G model came with a 7,000mAh battery and the same 45W charging support. The 4G version therefore offers even more capacity, which should appeal to users who value longer use between charges.

Display and everyday usability

The front of the phone carries a 6.8-inch LCD panel with HD+ resolution, or 720 x 1,570 pixels. It offers a 90.4 percent screen-to-body ratio, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a touch sampling rate of up to 240Hz.

Realme says peak brightness reaches 700 nits, with up to 900 nits available in High Brightness Mode. Corning Gorilla Glass protection adds a familiar layer of durability for daily use.

Core hardware and storage

Inside, the Realme P4x 4G runs Realme UI based on Android 16 and uses the Unisoc T7250 octa-core chipset with an Arm Mali-G57 GPU. The device is listed with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of eMMC 5.1 storage.

There is also support for storage expansion through a memory card. That makes the phone a more straightforward option for users who want generous file space without moving to a higher-priced 5G model.

Cameras and connectivity

The rear camera setup is led by a 50MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture, autofocus support, and a 76-degree field of view. Up front, the phone uses a 5MP selfie camera with an f/2.2 aperture.

Connectivity and convenience features include Wi‑Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, USB Type‑C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Realme also keeps the security package practical with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and face recognition.

The phone further includes a proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, e-compass, accelerometer, and gyroscope. These are the kinds of basic hardware features that help round out a budget-friendly device without adding unnecessary complexity.

Price, colors, and build

In Malaysia, the Realme P4x 4G is priced at MYR 799 for the 4GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. Buyers can choose between Rally White and Phantom Blue.

Sales are already live through Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok in Malaysia, putting the phone directly into major online channels from launch. The model also carries an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance, which adds a little extra confidence for everyday use.

Its dimensions are listed at 166.48 x 78.23 x 8.78 mm, with a weight of about 219 grams. That size is consistent with a phone built around a battery this large, and it helps explain why the P4x 4G is aimed squarely at users who care more about stamina than 5G support.
