GTA 6 Pre-Orders Open in Indonesia, Prices Are Closer Than Many Expected

Rockstar Games has opened pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto VI, and the first official prices in Indonesia are drawing attention for one simple reason: they are not as far from expectations as many players feared.

On PlayStation Store, the game is now listed with a Standard Edition priced at Rp1.190.000 and an Ultimate Edition at Rp1.490.000. For a title as anticipated as GTA 6, that pricing immediately puts the game back at the center of gaming discussion.

What Players Get in Each Edition

Rockstar is positioning GTA 6 as a full single-player experience built around Jason and Lucia. The game is set in a larger and more detailed open world than previous entries, with the main release scheduled for 19 November 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

The Standard Edition offers the base game for players who only want access to the core release. The Ultimate Edition goes further with premium vehicles, special in-game weapons, character clothing packs, and additional content tied to Jason and Lucia’s story.

Pre-Order Bonus and Early Access Timing

Anyone who pre-orders the game will also receive the Vintage Vice City Pack. The bonus includes in-game items inspired by the classic Vice City era, giving early buyers a separate reward on top of the game itself.

Rockstar says the pre-order bonus applies to both digital and physical purchases made before 20 November 2026. For digital buyers, preload will begin on 12 November 2026, which should help players get ready before launch day.

Physical Copies Will Still Require a Download

Rockstar has also confirmed that physical versions will not include a traditional disc. Instead, the box will contain a download code, meaning buyers of the physical edition will still need to install the game digitally.

That detail makes the release plan different from many earlier boxed games, even though the company is still offering a physical package for collectors and retail buyers. The approach keeps the same launch date for both digital and physical customers while shifting the actual game delivery to downloads.

PC Release Is Still Unannounced

At this stage, GTA 6 is confirmed only for consoles, while the PC version does not yet have an official release date. Rockstar says the platform will follow later, continuing a pattern it has used for some of its biggest launches.

For now, attention remains on the console debut and the pre-order window that is already live. With pricing now visible in Indonesia and bonus content attached to early purchases, the game is moving from expectation to a concrete release plan.
