The latest iPhone pricing update at iBox has taken an unusual turn. While most Apple models in the official Indonesian retail channel remain unchanged, the newest flagship pair moved in opposite directions.
That split is what stands out most for buyers watching the premium segment. The iPhone 17 Pro 256 GB now sells for Rp24.499.000, down Rp500 ribu from Rp24.999.000, while the iPhone 17 Pro Max 256 GB has risen to Rp26.999.000 from Rp26.499.000.
Most other iPhone prices stay put
Beyond those two adjustments, iBox lists the rest of the lineup at the same price levels as before. Series spanning iPhone 13, iPhone 14, iPhone 15, and iPhone 16 have not shown wider changes ahead of the end of June 2026.
That stability suggests the official market is holding steady for now, even as Apple’s top-end models get a reset. For shoppers, the main question is no longer whether prices are moving, but which version still offers the better entry point.
Older models are getting harder to find
Availability is becoming a different issue for buyers looking at previous generations. For iPhone 13 and iPhone 14, the official site currently shows only the lowest-memory variants left in stock.
The same narrowing pattern is beginning to show on iPhone 15, where choices are also limited as attention shifts toward newer generations. In practical terms, the older the model, the more likely it is that color and storage options have already thinned out.
Newer lines remain easier to buy
By contrast, the iPhone 16 series is still available through official retail with a relatively complete selection of units and colors. iPhone Air and the full iPhone 17 series are also listed with broader availability.
That gap in stock tells a familiar story in Indonesia’s smartphone market. Newer devices are easier to secure, while legacy models gradually disappear from the shelves, leaving buyers with less room to wait.
