Prime Day 2026 Opens With Deep Cuts, Amazon Pushes Up To 80% Off Across Categories

Amazon has begun revealing the first wave of Prime Day 2026 promotions in India, and the early numbers are already aggressive. Discounts of up to 80 percent are being lined up across smartphones, TVs, laptops, audio gear, and Amazon’s own devices.

The event will run for three days from 4 July to 6 July, marking a notable milestone as Prime Day reaches its 10th year in the Indian market. For Prime members, the draw goes beyond headline discounts and extends into bank offers, exchange bonuses, no-cost EMI options, and cashback incentives.

A heavier push on payments and benefits

Prime Day 2026 starts at 12am IST on 4 July and ends at 11:59pm IST on 6 July. During that window, Prime members can get instant savings of up to 10 percent when using SBI debit and credit cards, Axis Bank credit cards, or EMI transactions.

Amazon Pay ICICI Bank Credit Card users also get unlimited 5 percent cashback on eligible purchases. The structure shows that Amazon is using the sale not only to cut product prices, but also to drive transactions through its payment and financing ecosystem.

Phones, earbuds, and accessories take the early spotlight

Smartphones are among the most visible parts of the opening promo wave. Amazon has confirmed new launches such as the Samsung Galaxy M47 and OnePlus N6 as part of the sale.

Other devices already named include the OnePlus Nord 6, Redmi A7 Pro 5G, iQOO 15R, OnePlus Nord Buds 4 Pro, and Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 Pro. Amazon says discounts on smartphones and accessories can reach 40 percent, while exchange bonuses can go as high as Rs. 66,000.

Buyers will also be able to use no-cost EMI for up to 12 months, which could matter most on higher-priced devices. Outside the phone category, accessories, wearables, and headphones from brands such as Boat and Ray-Ban are listed with discounts of up to 80 percent.

Laptops, cameras, and home entertainment get broad cuts

For shoppers looking at work or entertainment upgrades, Amazon is offering up to 40 percent off laptops and tablets. Speakers are also set for discounts of up to 60 percent during Prime Day 2026.

Cameras and camera accessories are part of the larger promotion as well, with discounts reaching up to 75 percent. Amazon specifically points to the GoPro HERO13 Black as one of the products included in that category.

Home entertainment devices are also receiving substantial cuts. Smart TVs from Samsung, Sony, TCL, LG, and Xiaomi will be available with discounts of up to 65 percent, while projectors from Wzatco, E GATE, Crossbeats, Zebronics, and Lumio are listed with savings of up to 70 percent.

For TVs and projectors, Amazon is adding extra incentives beyond the sale price. Buyers can get additional coupons worth up to Rs. 5,000, instant bank discounts of up to Rs. 12,000, and no-cost EMI for up to 12 months.

Amazon’s own devices are part of the push

The company is also using Prime Day to highlight its own hardware. Echo smart speakers and Fire TV devices will be discounted by up to 45 percent, while selected Fire TV Smart TVs will get savings of up to 55 percent.

Kindle devices and other products in Amazon’s ecosystem are also expected to be included in the promotional lineup. That pattern has become familiar for Prime Day, with the company using deep cuts on its own devices to drive both traffic and wider adoption.

A 10th-year Prime Day with a sharper membership pitch

Prime Day 2026 is being framed as a 10-year milestone for the event in India, and Amazon is pairing that anniversary with a sharper membership offer. New customers can sign up for the annual Prime plan at Rs. 999, down from the regular Rs. 1,499.

The lower entry price adds another layer to the campaign, especially because many of the strongest benefits are reserved for Prime members. With a mix of large discounts, exchange bonuses, payment-linked savings, and multiple product launches, Amazon is positioning the sale as one of its biggest India campaigns of the year.

The first reveal suggests a broad strategy rather than a single-category push. Amazon is leaning on price cuts, financing tools, and its own devices at the same time, creating a sale designed to keep Prime members inside its ecosystem from browsing to checkout.
