Moto Pad 70 Pro arrives with an unusually ambitious pitch for an Android tablet: it tries to cover work, creativity, and entertainment without feeling like a compromise. Motorola backs that claim with flagship-grade hardware, a large 13-inch display, and a battery built for long sessions away from the charger.
The device is positioned as more than just a media slate. With Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, a 144Hz 3.5K screen, and a metal body measuring just 6.2 mm thick, the tablet is clearly aimed at users who want a portable device that can handle serious daily workloads.
Flagship hardware in a tablet body
Motorola equips the Moto Pad 70 Pro with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, paired with 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage in 128GB and 256GB options. The company says the tablet can score more than 2.5 million on AnTuTu, placing it in performance territory that is far above the typical Android tablet class.
That hardware setup is meant for more than benchmark numbers. Motorola is also pushing Desk Mode, which gives the tablet a desktop-style workflow for multitasking, gaming, and design apps.
A 13-inch display built for work and entertainment
The biggest visual draw is the 13-inch panel with 3.5K resolution, or 3456 x 2160 pixels. It also supports a 144Hz refresh rate, 12-bit color depth, Dolby Vision, and brightness up to 800 nits.
Those specifications make the screen suitable for streaming, sketching, editing, and reading long documents. Motorola is clearly targeting creators, students, and professionals who will benefit from both the size and the responsiveness of the panel.

Battery life and charging are major selling points
Battery capacity reaches 10,200mAh, one of the strongest figures in its category. Motorola claims it can last up to 14 hours for video streaming, more than 10 hours for office work or web browsing, and around 8 hours for intensive gaming.
Charging is handled through USB-C with support for 45W fast charging. The company also includes a 68W charger in the box, and a full charge is said to take about 90 minutes.

Moto Pen Pro adds AI tools
Moto Pad 70 Pro ships with Moto Pen Pro at no extra cost, giving the tablet a stronger appeal for note-taking and creative work. The stylus supports handwriting and drawing, but its feature set goes further with AI tools such as Smart Capture, Sketch to Image, AI Super Res, AI Live Transcript, AI Notes, and Smarter Reader.
Smart Capture is designed to copy or edit text and objects on screen quickly. Sketch to Image turns rough sketches into digital images, while AI Live Transcript helps with real-time transcription during meetings or lectures.
Sound, connectivity, and a premium build
For audio, Motorola uses four JBL speakers with Dolby Atmos tuning. The setup is intended to make movies, music, and video calls sound fuller and more immersive than on a basic tablet.
The rest of the package also stays high-end. The tablet includes Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, microSD support up to 2TB, and a full-metal unibody design that weighs 589 grams and comes in Pantone Titan, a gray metallic finish.
Optional keyboard moves it closer to a laptop
Motorola also offers an optional magnetic keyboard with a precision touchpad and a Smart Key for quick access to AI functions. Together with multitasking windows and Desk Mode, the accessory helps the tablet behave more like a lightweight laptop.
The keyboard costs Rs 5,999 on its own, or it is included in a Rs 45,999 bundle for the 256GB version. That pricing makes the accessory part of Motorola’s broader attempt to sell the device as a serious work machine rather than a casual consumption tablet.
Price and availability in India
Moto Pad 70 Pro is available in three pricing configurations in India. The base 8GB+128GB model is listed at Rs 36.999, while the 8GB+256GB version costs Rs 39.999.

With its large display, strong chip, generous battery, and AI-focused accessories, the Moto Pad 70 Pro enters the market as one of Motorola’s most aggressive premium tablet plays.
