Moto G77 Power Arrives with a 7,000 mAh Battery, and the Gap to the Regular Model Is Huge

Motorola is set to unveil the Moto G77 Power on July 8, and the headline feature is impossible to ignore. The new model carries a 7,000 mAh battery, a major jump from the 5,200 mAh unit found in the standard Moto G77 launched in January.

The launch detail appeared on a promotional page already live on Flipkart, which also revealed the phone’s design and several key specifications. That early listing gives a fairly clear picture of what Motorola wants this model to do: last longer, handle daily media use, and still keep the display and audio experience competitive.

Battery endurance is the main attraction

The biggest difference between the Moto G77 Power and the regular Moto G77 is the battery capacity. At 7,000 mAh, the new version is positioned for users who care more about endurance than constant charging access.

Flipkart has not yet disclosed the charging speed, so that part of the package remains unknown for now. The confirmed information still makes the battery the central story, especially because the standard model already offered 5,200 mAh.

Display and software details are already known

The phone will feature a 6.72-inch FullHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. That combination should help scrolling and animation feel smoother, while Gorilla Glass 7i adds a layer of protection to the screen.

On the software side, the Moto G77 Power will ship with Android 16 out of the box. Motorola is also promising an upgrade to Android 17, though the chipset inside the device has not been revealed yet.

Design, cameras, and audio round out the package

Motorola is giving the phone a vegan leather back panel, which helps it stand apart visually from many rivals that rely on simpler glossy finishes. The company is also offering three Pantone-curated color options, although the exact names have not been announced.

For photography, the Moto G77 Power uses a 50MP main camera with a Sony LYTIA 600 sensor and pairs it with an 8MP ultrawide camera. A 32MP front camera handles selfies and video calls.

Audio and durability are also part of the pitch. The device includes stereo speakers, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, Dolby Atmos, Hi-Res Audio, and MIL-STD-810H certification.

What remains under wraps

Several important details are still missing, including the processor, pricing, and broader availability. Flipkart has said those specifics will be announced on the launch day, when the Moto G77 Power is expected to make its full debut.

For now, the confirmed specification mix suggests a phone built to appeal to users who want long battery life without giving up a 120Hz display, stereo sound, and a fairly complete camera setup.
