Fire-Boltt’s push into smartphones is starting to take shape, and the first device now appears to be a low-cost 4G model called Boltt Evo 4G. The clearest clues so far come from a Geekbench listing, which points to an entry-level setup rather than a phone built for performance.
The device has also been linked to the new Boltt brand that Fire-Boltt is using for its smartphone lineup. The company has already said that its upcoming phones will be split across the Evo and Ace series, covering both 4G and 5G models.
What Geekbench reveals
The benchmark listing, seen via 91Mobiles, identifies the handset as Boltt Evo and shows the motherboard codename “ums9230_6h10.” It also lists a base frequency of 1.61GHz and an octa-core ARMv8 CPU layout.
That configuration includes six efficiency cores running at 1.61GHz and two performance cores at 1.82GHz. Based on those details, the chipset is believed to be the Unisoc T7250.

Unisoc T7250 is a 12nm chip first announced in 2024, and it is already present in several budget phones. Those include the Realme P4x, Oppo A6c, Poco C81 Pro, and Itel Zeno 200.
A budget entry with Android 16
Boltt Evo 4G is expected to come with at least 4GB of RAM, matching the variant that showed up in testing. The listing also suggests that Android 16 will be installed out of the box.
If that information holds up, Fire-Boltt would be entering the smartphone market with unusually current software for a device aimed at the entry level. The benchmark score itself reinforces that positioning, with 440 points in single-core testing and 1,470 points in multi-core testing on Geekbench 6.7.1 for Android AArch64.
Those numbers do not indicate a high-end device, but they do fit the profile of a basic phone designed for everyday use. The 4G name also suggests that the company is targeting the more affordable side of the market first.
Fire-Boltt’s broader smartphone plan
Fire-Boltt has already confirmed that it plans to expand beyond wearables and into smartphones in India. The move marks a notable shift for a company better known for consumer electronics and smartwatches.

The launch schedule is also still unclear, and the company has not yet shared a release date. For now, the combination of a Geekbench listing, a likely Unisoc T7250 chipset, and Android 16 gives the strongest early picture of the phone Fire-Boltt is preparing to bring to market.
