iQoo Z11i Puts Battery Life First, a 6,500 mAh Mid-Ranger That Refuses to Race Charging

iQoo has quietly expanded its mid-range lineup in China with the launch of the iQoo Z11i. The phone stands out immediately for one reason: a 6,500 mAh battery that places endurance ahead of everything else.

That choice gives the Z11i a different appeal from many rivals in its segment. Instead of chasing fast charging headlines or flashy camera hardware, iQoo is betting on long-lasting daily use backed by efficient hardware and a 120 Hz display.

A battery-first phone with modest charging

The biggest selling point is the 6,500 mAh battery, which is much larger than what is usually found in this class. The trade-off is clear, as charging is limited to 15-watt wired fast charging.

That makes the Z11i a strong fit for users who care more about endurance than top-up speed. iQoo is positioning the model as a practical mid-ranger built around efficiency and long runtime.

Snapdragon power and a 120 Hz display

Inside, the phone runs on a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset paired with up to 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Users who need more room can still expand storage through the microSD slot.

On the front, the iQoo Z11i uses a 6.74-inch LCD panel with HD Plus resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. iQoo says the screen can reach a peak brightness of 1,200 nits, which should help visibility outdoors in bright conditions.

Simple cameras, but useful everyday extras

The rear design uses a rounded-square camera module that can look like a dual-camera setup at first glance. In reality, the phone carries a single 13 MP main camera, while the second area is reserved for the LED flash and an RGB ring light indicator.

Up front, there is a 5 MP selfie camera housed in a waterdrop notch. The overall design is straightforward, which fits the phone’s practical focus rather than a camera-led identity.

Even so, iQoo includes a solid set of daily-use features. The phone offers a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a 3.5 mm audio jack, dual SIM support with 5G, and an IP65 rating for dust and splash resistance.

Colors, software, and China pricing

In China, the iQoo Z11i comes in three color options: Desert Gold, Ink Shadow, and Qingfeng. It ships with OriginOS 6 based on Android 16 right out of the box.

GSMArena reports that the phone is sold in several memory variants, giving buyers a few different pricing tiers to choose from. The lineup is listed below.

Memory VariantOfficial Price
Base variant1,299 yuan
Mid-tier variant1,499 yuan
Top variant1,699 yuan

With its large battery, 120 Hz screen, and IP65 protection, the iQoo Z11i is clearly designed for buyers who value staying power. It adds enough core hardware and everyday features to remain competitive, even if charging speed is not part of the pitch.
