Xiaomi Indonesia has expanded the REDMI ecosystem with four new devices aimed at young users who move quickly between work, entertainment, exercise, and communication. The lineup is designed to stay connected through Xiaomi HyperOS, making each product part of a more seamless daily setup.
The launch brings together REDMI Pad 2 9.7-inch, REDMI Buds 8, REDMI Watch 6, and REDMI Headphone Neo. Rather than standing alone, the four devices are positioned as a coordinated ecosystem that supports mobile routines with fewer interruptions.
HyperOS as the Main Link Between Devices
The core of the integration is Xiaomi HyperOS 3, which is built to reduce the gap between devices. It allows data to move instantly, helping users switch between tasks without unnecessary friction.
In practical use, REDMI Pad 2 can receive phone calls directly, copy text, and move video assets from a phone to its screen without third-party apps. REDMI Watch 6 can also switch music tracks during a run while controlling Xiaomi IoT smart home devices.
Marketing Director of Xiaomi Indonesia, Andi Renreng, said the company continues to develop the REDMI ecosystem in Indonesia with products integrated through Xiaomi HyperOS. He noted that the integration is intended to help consumers handle daily routines more smoothly.
REDMI Pad 2 9.7-Inch Brings a Compact Productivity Option
REDMI Pad 2 is built around a 9.7-inch display that sits in a balanced zone between portability and productivity. The size is compact enough to carry in a small sling bag, yet large enough for video editing and multimedia viewing.
The tablet uses the Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2 chipset and a 2K display. Xiaomi also equips it with a 7,600 mAh battery and support for external memory expansion up to 2 TB for all-day work and entertainment use.
For connectivity, buyers can choose between a Wi-Fi-only version and a model with 4G mobile network support.
Three Companion Devices for Daily Mobility
REDMI Watch 6 arrives as a premium-looking smartwatch with a 2.07-inch AMOLED screen. Its 2 mm ultra-thin bezel, 2,000 nits peak brightness, and 60 Hz refresh rate make the display easy to read outdoors.
The watch also includes GNSS for independent location tracking, 5 ATM water resistance, and more than 150 sports modes. Health features cover heart rate monitoring, SpO2 tracking, and sleep monitoring for fitness-oriented users.
REDMI Buds 8 focuses on everyday audio with Active Noise Cancellation that can suppress noise by up to 50 dB. Through the Xiaomi Earbuds app, users can adjust the equalizer to their preference, while total battery life is claimed to reach 44 hours with the charging case.
REDMI Headphone Neo marks the REDMI line’s debut in the over-ear category. It uses 40 mm titanium-coated dynamic drivers, offers ANC up to 42 dB, and supports both wireless and wired hybrid modes.
Availability in Indonesia
The four devices are already available through Xiaomi Authorized Store, Erafone, and official e-commerce channels. Xiaomi has also prepared launch promotions for the July 2026 period alongside the recommended retail pricing.
