The starting price is Rp 5,499,000, placing the device in a segment where battery life, durability, and display quality often matter just as much as raw performance. Vivo also confirmed that the phone comes in four memory configurations, including two variants sold exclusively online.

Four memory options, with online-only variants

The Y500 is offered in a straightforward lineup that gives buyers several storage and RAM combinations. Two of the configurations are limited to online sales, which adds another layer of choice for shoppers who prefer to buy through digital channels.

During the 1-31 July 2026 promotion period, Vivo is also offering bank cashback of up to Rp 600,000. Buyers can additionally get Blibli In-Store cashback of up to Rp 300,000, alongside installment programs from multiple financing partners.

Those financing partners include Home Credit, Kredivo, Shopee PayLater, Indodana, AEON FAST, and Vast Finance by Kredivo. The bundle is meant to make the purchase easier for consumers who prefer flexible payment options.

Battery endurance is the main selling point

Vivo says the 8,100 mAh Ultra Nonstop battery is the largest battery ever used in a Vivo smartphone. The company claims it can play music for up to 85 hours, positioning the phone clearly toward heavy daily use.

The battery system also includes Battery Life Extender support, which can still allow calls for up to 36 minutes when the remaining charge reaches 1%. Even at 0%, Vivo says the phone can continue calling for around 4 minutes.

To help preserve long-term battery health, Vivo adds a 6 Years Battery Health feature. The phone also carries Bypass Charging 2.0 and Overnight Charging Protection, both designed to reduce heat during charging and use.

Durability and display are built for everyday use

Beyond battery endurance, the Y500 is built with IP68 and IP69 certification. Vivo also says the phone has military-grade durability, a detail that adds another layer of protection for daily use.

The display is a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED Borderless panel with a 1.35 mm bezel. Vivo says the screen carries SGS Low Blue Light and SGS Five Star Sunlight-Readable Display certification, while Anti-Fatigue Brightness Adjustment is included for more comfortable viewing across different lighting conditions.

Two colors are available: Putih Ombak and Biru Samudra. Vivo says both use a Dual Coating Process to create a dynamic color effect, while the slim 8.19 mm body keeps the phone from looking bulky despite the large battery inside.

Cameras, AI tools, and software features

For imaging, the Vivo Y500 uses a 50 MP Sony main camera and a 32 MP Wide Selfie front camera. Vivo says the front camera offers a 17% wider field of view, which should help with self-portraits and group shots.

The phone also includes AI Erase 2.0, AI Ultra HD 2.0, AI Change Sky, and AI Color Adjustment. These tools are meant to simplify editing and help users adjust photos without needing extra apps.

On the software side, the device runs OriginOS 6. Vivo highlights features such as Origin Island, Drag & Go, Snap Up Engine, and Private Space as part of the interface package.

Cooling and after-sales support round out the package

To keep temperatures under control during gaming or long streaming sessions, Vivo equips the Y500 with a 3K Vapor Chamber Cooling System. The cooling setup is intended to help the phone maintain stable performance under heavier workloads.

One Tap Transfer is also included, allowing files to be moved between Vivo devices and iPhone by bringing the devices close together. Vivo positions it as a practical convenience feature for users who switch between ecosystems.

Finally, the phone comes with Vivo Care support that includes a 15 Days Phone Replacement Warranty, free screen protector and phone case replacement, and 1-Hour Rapid Repair. Users also get free device checks at official service centers, adding a strong after-sales layer to the overall offer.
