Motorola is giving the Moto G77 Power an unusually clear identity before its launch in India on 8 July. The phone’s biggest claim is its 7,000mAh battery, which the company says can last up to 59 hours on a single charge.
That positioning is deliberate. While many new mid-range phones compete on design and camera tuning, Motorola is leaning harder into endurance, display smoothness, and physical toughness.
Power that goes beyond a full day
The 7,000mAh battery is paired with 30W TurboPower Fast Charging, so the phone is not only about staying alive longer but also about getting back to usable power more quickly. Motorola also includes 6W wired reverse charging, allowing the device to top up other gadgets through a cable when needed.
Display and durability built for everyday use
Up front, the Moto G77 Power uses a 6.72-inch LCD display with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Motorola says the panel can reach up to 1,050 nits in High Brightness Mode, which should help visibility in brighter conditions.
The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, while the phone itself carries an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance. Motorola also adds MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability, giving the device a sturdier profile than many typical mid-range models.

Dimensity 6400, with room for more storage
Performance is handled by the MediaTek Dimensity 6400, matched with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. Motorola also offers RAM Boost for virtual memory expansion.
If internal storage is not enough, users can expand capacity further with a microSD card of up to 1TB. That gives the phone a flexibility level that many buyers in the segment still value.
Camera setup led by Sony 50MP sensor
On the back, Motorola has chosen a 50MP Sony LYTIA 600 main camera with Optical Image Stabilization. The OIS support should help reduce shake for both still photos and video.
The rear setup is completed by an 8MP ultrawide camera, while the front gets a 32MP selfie camera. Both the front and rear cameras can record video at up to 2K.
Android 16 from day one
The Moto G77 Power ships with Android 16 out of the box. Motorola says the phone will receive one major Android OS upgrade and three years of security updates.
That software promise is complemented by practical extras, including stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, a 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 5.4, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The headphone jack remains a notable inclusion for users who still prefer wired audio.
Four Pantone colors, but no price yet
Motorola plans to offer the Moto G77 Power in four finishes: Pantone Impenetrable, Pantone Nautical Blue, Pantone Fuchsia Red, and Pantone Laurel Green. The official price has not been revealed yet.
With a battery size that clearly leads the pitch, the Moto G77 Power is shaping up as a mid-range phone built to outlast a typical charging cycle and still bring familiar extras such as a fast screen, expandable storage, and a main camera with OIS. More details, including final pricing and whether the device will go beyond India, are expected at the 8 July launch.
