Vivo X Fold 6 has moved a step closer to an international launch after its global variant surfaced in Indonesia’s SDPPI certification database. The listing is one of the clearest signs yet that Vivo is preparing to bring the foldable phone beyond China.
The model number V2559 was the key detail that confirmed the device’s identity. That same code had already appeared in EEC certification records in Europe back in April, making the Indonesia listing an important new piece of the global launch puzzle.
Global identity is now getting clearer
Although the SDPPI database does not reveal hardware details, it strengthens the link between V2559 and the international version of Vivo X Fold 6. Reporting from Gizmochina notes that this appearance is among the strongest indicators so far that the foldable is nearing overseas release.
For a device that has mostly circulated through leaks and certification traces, that matters. The move from a model code to a recognized global marketing name usually signals that commercial preparation is already underway.
| Detail | Information |

| Global model | V2559 |

What the global version is expected to carry
The international variant is expected to follow the China model’s hardware, starting with a large 8.02-inch LTPO AMOLED folding display and a 6.53-inch LTPO AMOLED cover screen. Both panels support adaptive 120Hz refresh rates, peak brightness of up to 5,000 nits, and eye protection features.
Under the hood, Vivo uses the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 Super Edition, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and as much as 1TB of storage. That combination places the phone firmly in the premium foldable category.

Cameras, durability, and color options
The camera system is also positioned aggressively. Vivo X Fold 6 is said to feature a 200MP main camera, a 50MP ZEISS APO periscope telephoto camera, and a 50MP ultra-wide camera, supported by the V3+ imaging chip and a telephoto extender accessory.
For selfies and video calls, Vivo uses a 20MP front camera on the outer side and another 20MP sensor on the inner display. The device also carries IP58 and IP59 ratings for dust and water resistance, which add useful protection for a large folding handset.
In China, the phone is offered in green, white, gray, and black/gold finishes. There is still no confirmed global launch schedule, although reports suggest India could get the phone in October this year.
With certification now appearing in Indonesia after Europe, the international rollout looks increasingly deliberate. If the pattern continues, Vivo X Fold 6 may be approaching its formal global announcement sooner rather than later.
