Noise REP Skips the Screen, Puts Battery Life and Health Tracking First

Author: Qoo Media

Noise has entered India’s screenless wearable segment with REP Band, a device built around continuous health monitoring rather than notifications or display-based interaction. It also arrives with AI-driven wellness insights and a no-subscription model that sets it apart in a crowded market.

The positioning is straightforward: REP is meant for users who want premium health features without recurring fees. That makes it a practical option for all-day wear, especially for people who prefer a simpler device on the wrist instead of another screen to manage.

Lightweight build and long battery life

Noise REP uses a sandblasted stainless-steel body with a dual-finish design and weighs just 27 grams. It ships with a hypoallergenic dual-tone twill-weave strap and a one-hand clasp system, making it easier to wear throughout the day and even during sleep.

The device is rated 5 ATM for water resistance and is claimed to last up to 10 days on a single charge. That combination of low weight and long battery life makes it more suitable for continuous wear than products that need frequent charging or removal.

Feature Detail Benefit
Weight 27 grams Designed for all-day wear
Water resistance 5 ATM Suitable for everyday use
Battery life Up to 10 days Single charge usage
Optical sensor 4 photodiodes, 4 green LEDs, multi-wavelength LEDs Supports green, red, and infrared light

Health sensing tuned for more skin tones

For health tracking, REP uses a circular optical sensor with four photodiodes, four green LEDs, and multi-wavelength LEDs that cover green, red, and infrared light. Noise says the sensor has been calibrated for Fitzpatrick skin types II through VI to improve tracking accuracy across a wider range of skin tones in India.

The company also says the wearable recorded a mean heart rate difference of just -0.06 BPM in testing against a Polar chest strap. That claim underscores its focus on measurement accuracy rather than surface-level feature counts.

Sports tracking and AI health insights

REP also includes a 6-axis motion sensor made up of a 3-axis accelerometer and a 3-axis gyroscope. With that setup, the wearable can detect activities such as walking, running, cycling, rowing, and elliptical training indoors and outdoors.

For daily use, Noise offers 24/7 heart-rate monitoring, HRV, recovery score, sleep analysis, stress tracking, VO2, stamina, respiratory rate, and SpO2. The data is processed through the NoiseFit app, where users receive AI-based daily health highlights without paying a subscription fee.

Price and color options

Noise REP is priced at an introductory Rp 9,999 for pre-book customers. Early orders opened on 8 July through Noise’s official website, Amazon, and Flipkart.

The device comes in four color options: Vivid Orange, Navy Blue, Classic Black, and Sand Beige. With its screenless design, 10-day battery claim, and broad health toolkit, Noise is clearly aiming at users who care more about body tracking than a small display on the wrist.
