Oppo Reno 16F 5G Packs a 7,000 mAh Battery and Telephoto Camera, Yet the Price Stays in Reach

Oppo has positioned the Reno 16F 5G as a mid-range phone that tries to cover nearly every important category at once. The device combines a 7,000 mAh battery, a 50 MP telephoto camera, a 120Hz AMOLED display, and 80W Supervooc charging.

In Indonesia, the phone is sold starting at Rp 7,9 juta for the 8 GB/128 GB variant. The 8 GB/256 GB model is priced at Rp 8,6 juta, placing the device in a segment where battery life and camera flexibility matter as much as raw performance.

Display and Design Focus on Everyday Comfort

The Reno 16F 5G uses a 6.57-inch Crystal Guard+ AMOLED panel with FHD+ 2372 x 1080 resolution and a 397 PPI density. Oppo says the screen reaches a 92.8 percent screen-to-body ratio, while the panel supports up to 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate.

Visual quality is reinforced by 100 percent DCI-P3 support, 10-bit color with 1.07 billion colors, and up to 1,400 nits of brightness in HBM mode. The device is also offered in dream purple, twilight violet, and pop white, with slight differences in thickness and weight depending on the color.

Triple Rear Cameras and a Serious Selfie Setup

Photography is one of the phone’s strongest selling points. On the back, Oppo includes a 50 MP main camera with f/1.8 aperture, autofocus, and 2-axis optical image stabilization, along with an 8 MP ultra-wide camera with a 116-degree field of view.

The third rear camera is a 50 MP telephoto unit with f/2.8 aperture and OIS, giving the Reno 16F 5G a feature rarely seen at this price level. On the front, the phone carries a 50 MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture, autofocus, and a 100-degree field of view.

Video and Shooting Modes Stay Broad

The rear camera system supports video recording up to 4K 60 fps and 4K 30 fps, alongside 1080p at up to 60 fps and 720p at 30 fps. Slow motion is also available at 1080p 120 fps and 720p 240 fps, while the front camera supports up to 4K 30 fps recording.

Oppo also includes a wide range of modes such as photo, video, portrait, night, panorama, slo-mo, time lapse, sticker, hi-res, Google Lens, underwater, doc scanner, and pop. The front camera adds photo, video, portrait, night, panorama, time lapse, retouch, fill light, hi-res, and pop modes.

Performance and Connectivity Cover the Core Essentials

Under the hood, the Reno 16F 5G runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Energy processor with an 8-core CPU and Arm Mali-G615 GPU. Oppo is clearly aiming this hardware combination at multitasking, gaming, and heavier app use.

Connectivity support includes 5G NR bands n1, n3, n5, n8, and n40, plus 4G LTE, 3G, and 2G. The phone also supports dual nano-SIM, WiFi 6, WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, USB Type-C, and USB OTG.

Battery Life Is the Biggest Advantage

The headline feature is the 7,000 mAh typical battery, listed as 6,850 mAh measured capacity. Oppo pairs it with 80W Supervooc charging, and the device is also compatible with 67W charging and below under Supervooc, 55W PPS, 13.5W Power Delivery, and 13.5W Quick Charge.

That battery setup gives the Reno 16F 5G a clear identity in the crowded mid-range market. For users who want long endurance without giving up fast charging, Oppo has built the phone around exactly that promise.

Security and Software Round Out the Package

Security features include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor and face recognition. The phone also carries a range of sensors such as proximity, ambient light, color temperature, electronic compass, accelerometer, and gyroscope.

On the software side, the Reno 16F 5G runs ColorOS 16.0. Oppo pairs the system with its usual productivity and security features, making the device feel complete rather than narrowly focused on just one headline spec.

With its large battery, telephoto camera, and bright AMOLED screen, the Oppo Reno 16F 5G is built to appeal to buyers who want a balanced phone at a still-accessible price. In the Indonesian market, the two available storage options keep the handset firmly in the Rp 7 million class.
