Xiaomi has added another appliance to its smart home lineup with the Mijia Smart Tea Bar Pro Vertical Model, a tea machine built for speed, convenience, and cleaner cup storage. The device is already listed on Youpin crowdfunding and is scheduled to go on sale on 20 July for 1,099 yuan, or about $165.

The concept is simple but ambitious. Xiaomi wants a single machine to deliver hot water instantly, brew tea quickly, and keep drinking cups sanitized without extra manual work.

Fast heating and tea brewing in one unit

The Tea Bar Pro is designed to dispense hot water in just 3 seconds on one side, while the other side brews tea at the same speed. Xiaomi says the machine can boil water in 15 seconds, making it suitable for daily use as well as serving guests more efficiently.

It comes with a 5.5-liter water tank, a 1.2-liter kettle, and a sharing pot. Users can also choose from 5 built-in temperature levels and 4 cup-size options, giving the machine enough flexibility for different drinks and serving needs.

Key Feature Detail Benefit
Instant hot water 3 seconds Faster daily use
Water boiling 15 seconds Quicker preparation
Water tank 5.5 liters More frequent use
Temperature settings 5 levels More drink flexibility

Cup storage that cleans itself

One of the most notable features is the 10-liter storage compartment, which can hold 8 to 15 cups. The compartment automatically sterilizes and dries the cups using UVC ultraviolet light and 70°C hot air.

Xiaomi says the system can eliminate at least 99.99% of bacteria, spores, and mold based on independent laboratory testing. For households that want a cleaner drinking setup, this feature reduces the need for repeated manual washing after every use.

Minimalist design with smart controls

In terms of appearance, the device follows Xiaomi’s familiar white minimalist style and includes a 2.8-inch color touchscreen on top for control. It also supports Xiao AI voice commands, while the interface uses simple real-time status and alerts to make it easier to use across age groups.

The brewing system includes preset modes for different types of tea, and users can add custom tea recipes through the Xiaomi Home app. Once a brewing mode is selected, the machine works automatically, adds water when needed, stops when the kettle is full, and keeps the tea warm afterward.

With the Mijia Smart Tea Bar Pro Vertical Model, Xiaomi is pushing its kitchen devices further into the connected-home category. The machine combines instant hot water, adjustable temperature control, automatic cup sterilization, and voice support in one appliance aimed at making daily tea routines more efficient.
