Caviar has prepared a Lionel Messi edition of the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra with a starting price of USD 13,130. Only 19 units are planned, positioning the device as a highly limited collector product rather than a conventional foldable phone.
Samsung has not yet officially introduced the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra or disclosed the price of its standard version. The Caviar release has therefore drawn attention to the Ultra model before Samsung’s own announcement.

A Tribute to Messi and Argentina
The custom device was designed as a tribute to Lionel Messi and Argentina’s football journey. Its rear panel features handmade cloisonné enamel artwork depicting the Argentine footballer.
Light blue is the main visual color, reflecting the identity of Argentina’s national team. Additional decorative elements reinforce the football theme and Messi’s association with his country.
Caviar uses 24-karat gold accents on the outline, frame, number 10, and Argentine national symbols. FIFA branding, an official emblem, and the Adidas logo are also included to highlight Argentina’s 2022 World Cup victory.
The gold treatment extends beyond the handset itself. The sales package includes a royal blue presentation box with 24-karat gold elements and a custom Caviar Key.
Value Built on Rarity
The premium is based on custom craftsmanship, precious materials, the Messi theme, and the extremely small production run. Caviar does not present detailed additional specifications as the central attraction of this edition.
According to inet.detik.com, the standard Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra price remains unknown because Samsung has not made an official announcement. If it is priced around USD 2,000 like its predecessor, the Caviar edition could cost roughly five times more than the regular retail model.
The special edition surfaced ahead of Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event in London, England, scheduled for July 22. The Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra is expected to be among the devices introduced during that event.
Samsung is also believed to be preparing the Galaxy Z Fold 8, which is said to have a wider new design. The Galaxy Z Flip 8 and wearable products, including the Galaxy Watch 9 series, are also expected to be part of the presentation.
For collectors with substantial budgets, the 19-unit production cap adds a level of scarcity unavailable with regular smartphone releases. Buyers seeking a comparison with the standard model will still need to wait for Samsung’s official details.
