A Compact iQOO Tablet May Bring Flagship Snapdragon Power to a Smaller Format

Author: Qoo Media

iQOO may be preparing a compact tablet built around flagship-level performance rather than a conventional large-screen design. The unannounced device, identified as model iPA2691, has appeared in China’s SRRC certification database.

The most notable claim surrounding the device is its possible use of a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 series chip based on a 2 nm process. If accurate, the tablet could bring a future high-end Snapdragon platform into a more portable form factor.

What the Certification Reveals

The SRRC listing is the clearest indication so far that the tablet is progressing toward a launch. It does not provide a full specification sheet or confirm a release date from iQOO.

Leaker Digital Chat Station has described iPA2691 as a compact-bodied device. Gizmochina has also reported that the model may be offered as a Wi-Fi-only tablet without SIM card support.

Device Current Status Reported Details
iQOO Mini Tablet SRRC certified Model iPA2691, compact format, possibly Wi-Fi only
iQOO 16 Expected at a future event May be introduced alongside the tablet
iQOO Neo 11S Reported but unconfirmed Could use a Dimensity 9500-series chip

OLED Display Rumors Remain Unconfirmed

Reports point to an OLED display with slim bezels and a high refresh rate. That combination, together with the reported processor, suggests a device intended to emphasize performance and display quality.

Key hardware details remain unavailable. There is no confirmed screen size, battery capacity, memory configuration, or charging information at this stage.

As a result, the reported Snapdragon platform and display features should still be treated as rumors. The SRRC certification and the iPA2691 model number are currently the most concrete pieces of information.

A Possible Companion to the iQOO 16

iQOO is expected to hold its next major launch event in China in September or October. The iQOO 16 is expected to be the central product, while the compact tablet could appear as a companion device.

The company is also rumored to be preparing another Neo-series product for the same general period. iQOO Neo 12 may be introduced then, although there has been no company confirmation.

Separately, iQOO Neo 11S has been mentioned for the Chinese market. It could debut late this month or in August as a minor refresh of the iQOO Neo 11, which was introduced last year.

The Neo 11S is reportedly set to use a Dimensity 9500-series chip. Its final product name, detailed specifications, and launch timing remain uncertain.

For the compact tablet, the next details to watch are its display size, battery, and whether it will indeed launch beside the iQOO 16. Until iQOO makes an announcement, the device remains an SRRC-certified model with several major specifications still unverified.
