Vivo has introduced the Y6c 4G in China with two notable features for its price bracket: a 6,500mAh battery and a 120Hz display. The handset is priced at 899 yuan and is offered in a single 4GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration.
The large battery is the central appeal of the Vivo Y6c 4G, especially for users focused on communication, entertainment, and basic daily tasks. Vivo says the battery can remain healthy for up to five years under regular use, although it has not provided a usage estimate in hours.
Built for everyday durability
Vivo has also equipped the phone with an IP65 rating for resistance to dust and water splashes. It carries a five-star SGS rating for resistance to drops and impacts.
A side-mounted fingerprint sensor is included for unlocking the device. The phone also supports audio output of up to 150 percent and includes an infrared transmitter.
Vivo says the infrared feature can control more than 3,000 models of televisions, air conditioners, and other electronic devices. That addition gives the entry-level handset a practical function beyond its core calling and entertainment role.
| Component | Specification | Details |
|---|---|---|
| Display | 6.74-inch LCD | 1,600 x 720 pixels, 120Hz |
| Battery | 6,500mAh | 15W wired charging |

Large LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate
The Y6c 4G has a 6.74-inch LCD screen with a waterdrop notch. Its display resolution is 1,600 x 720 pixels, while the refresh rate can reach 120Hz.
Vivo states that the panel can reach 1,200 nits of brightness. It also has TÜV Rheinland certification for low blue-light emissions.
The 120Hz refresh rate is a significant part of the phone’s appeal because it can make interface movement appear smoother. However, the device uses an LCD panel rather than AMOLED technology.
Basic processing and cameras
Powering the phone is the 12nm Unisoc T7225 chipset. The octa-core processor combines two Cortex-A75 cores with six Cortex-A55 cores, with clock speeds up to 1.8GHz.
Graphics are handled by an Arm Mali-G57 GPU, placing the device in the basic-use category. The camera system follows the same approach with a single 8MP main rear camera.
The front-facing camera uses a 5MP sensor. Vivo has not listed additional camera sensors or dedicated photography features for this model.
China availability
The Vivo Y6c 4G runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16. Its 6,500mAh battery capacity follows the same approach Vivo previously used on the Y60.
The handset is now available to buy in China in its 4GB+128GB version. Vivo has not provided information on availability in other markets.
