Xiaomi may bring its Xiaomi 18 series to India in December, potentially moving the launch forward by about two months from its usual flagship release pattern. The reported plan is notable because the Xiaomi 18 Ultra is not listed among the models expected for the market.
The leaked lineup reportedly consists of the Xiaomi 18, Xiaomi 18 Pro, and Xiaomi 18 Pro Max. This would mark a departure from the previous generation, which eventually brought the Xiaomi 17 Ultra to India.
India Launch Could Arrive Earlier
Smartprix reported the possible December schedule, citing tipster Yogesh Brar. Xiaomi has not announced an official India launch date or confirmed the devices it plans to introduce there.
The timing would significantly reduce the gap between Xiaomi’s early flagship debut and its India release. Xiaomi 17, Xiaomi 17 Pro, and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max were introduced in China in September 2025, while the Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra arrived in India in March this year.

The Xiaomi 18 family had previously been rumoured to debut in China in September, close to the Qualcomm Snapdragon Summit. The phones could become the first devices powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro, according to the report.
