Oppo may be preparing a major visual change for its next Find flagship line, with leaked engineering units showing a wide horizontal rear camera module. The images also raise the possibility of an Oppo Find X10 Pro Max model joining the range.
The apparent shift matters because circular camera islands have been closely associated with recent Find phones. Still, the devices shown are engineering validation test units, so neither the design nor the product names can be treated as final.
A different layout for the rear cameras
Leaker Digital Chat Station said the Find X10 EVT units use a layout resembling the Find X9s Pro. Three camera sensors sit on the left side of the module, while the LED flash and a multispectral sensor occupy the right side.
This placement gives the camera area a distinctly horizontal appearance rather than a circular one. It is the most noticeable detail in images that circulated on Chinese social media.

The same leak points to white, orange, and cyan colour options. It also suggests the series could include a customisable dedicated AI button, although its precise function has not been disclosed.
Three phones and an uncertain Ultra model
Another image reportedly shows three devices believed to be the Oppo Find X10, Find X10 Pro, and Find X10 Pro Max. They were pictured beside an iPhone 17 Pro, but the image does not provide official confirmation of Oppo’s product lineup.

The reported Pro Max name leaves the status of a Find X10 Ultra unclear. If Pro Max becomes the highest model, Oppo could be moving toward a simpler flagship portfolio as memory costs put pressure on production expenses.
Gizmochina noted that separate rumours have suggested Xiaomi could skip a Xiaomi 18 Ultra. There is not enough information, however, to conclude that Oppo will abandon the Ultra name.
Launch window and compact flagship plans
Because the Find X10 series is said to have reached the EVT stage, it could launch in China in September or October. That timing remains dependent on Oppo’s internal development schedule and has not been announced by the company.
Digital Chat Station also reported that Oppo is developing a compact flagship phone with a 6.3-inch to 6.4-inch display. The device is said to use a 1.5K LTPO panel with very thin, symmetrical bezels on all four sides.
The compact phone is currently scheduled for the first half of 2027, although its identity remains unknown. It could succeed the Find X9s Pro, which was sold only in China and introduced alongside the Find X9 Ultra in April.
