Realme has officially launched its latest user interface, Realme UI 7.0, built on the foundation of Android 16. The update introduces a fresh visual design and several performance improvements alongside smart AI-powered features designed to enhance user experience. Distribution of this update will roll out gradually starting from the end of 2025, targeting select Realme devices initially.
Light Glass Design and Visual Enhancements
The most noticeable change in Realme UI 7.0 is the adoption of the Light Glass Design theme. This design emphasizes glass-like textures with a transparent and blurred effect. Icons have been redesigned into a style called Ice Cube Icons, replacing the prior flat iconography. The control center has also been revamped with a Misty Glass effect, giving backgrounds a frosted, translucent look. Additionally, the new Flux Theme 2.0 supports AI-based video wallpapers, live photo effects, refreshed fingerprint animations, and interactive widgets and icons. Realme states that all animations and transitions have been optimized to create a smoother and more appealing interaction.
Performance Upgrades and Smart Features
Under the hood, Realme UI 7.0 integrates a new system engine called Flux Engine. This engine aims to boost system responsiveness, accelerates daily tasks, and delivers smoother scrolling for improved usability. Multitasking gets a boost with enhanced floating apps and automatic notification grouping. The update also introduces more granular controls over notifications and alert management. Security is tightened with features that detect and block spam calls, along with more stringent app permission controls to safeguard user data.
Artificial Intelligence Integration and Ecosystem Connectivity
Realme places strong emphasis on AI integration within UI 7.0. One key feature is AI Notify Brief, which intelligently aggregates and prioritizes notifications, providing morning and evening summaries that help reduce interruptions. For photography enthusiasts, the AI Framing Master guides users with AI-driven composition tips to enhance photo quality without complexity. Gamers benefit from AI Gaming Coach, which analyzes play patterns and offers insights to create a richer gaming experience. Realme UI 7.0 also expands cross-device functionality by enabling iPhone and Apple Watch Connect. This feature allows seamless synchronization of calls, messages, and health data between Realme phones and iOS devices, enhancing interoperability across ecosystems.
Release Schedule and Eligible Devices
The update to Realme UI 7.0 will follow a phased rollout, beginning at the close of 2025. The Realme GT 8 Pro is set to receive the pre-installed version first. An open beta phase is expected in Q4 2025 for selected models, with broader releases continuing into Q1 2026. Availability may vary depending on region and carrier.
