Global Simultaneous Launch Strategy
Xiaomi is aligning its update strategy to reduce the gap between rollout timings in China and international markets. Reporting from GizmoChina cites that Xiaomi completed final global testing phases before releasing the OTA (Over-The-Air) update.
Liu De, a Xiaomi executive, states, “With HyperOS 3, we ensure that international users experience the newest features and updates as fast as domestic users.”
Firmware versions for Southeast Asian markets, including Indonesia, Thailand, and Malaysia, have appeared in MIUI Global ROM databases, signaling imminent availability for users in these regions.
The global OTA distribution is expected to commence within days, making HyperOS 3 one of Xiaomi’s largest software updates planned for 2025.
This timely update highlights Xiaomi’s ongoing efforts to enhance user experience worldwide through AI-driven innovations and frequent improvements on a wide device range.
