Honor is gearing up to launch the Honor 500 Pro on November 24, 2025, in China. This new model targets the mid-premium flagship segment with an impressive camera setup that stands out significantly.

The Honor 500 Pro boasts a primary camera using the Samsung HP3 sensor with a massive 200 MP resolution. This sensor also features optical image stabilization (OIS) to improve image clarity and reduce blur.

For zoom capabilities, the phone integrates a periscope camera equipped with the Sony IMX858 sensor at 50 MP resolution. This corrects earlier rumors suggesting a 64 MP sensor, confirming a strong focus on telephoto performance.

Additionally, the device includes a 12 MP ultra-wide camera with a 117-degree field of view. The front-facing camera is a noteworthy 50 MP, indicating a continued focus on high-quality selfies and video calls.

The display on the Honor 500 Pro measures 6.55 inches, offering a sharp resolution of 2736 × 1264 pixels. A fluid 120 Hz refresh rate promises smooth visuals, ideal for gaming and multimedia consumption.

Performance-wise, the phone runs on the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 Elite chipset. It incorporates specialized chips such as the C1+ RF for network stability and the E2 chip to optimize power consumption. The operating system is MagicOS 10, built on Android 16.

One of the key highlights is the large 8,000 mAh battery capacity. The device supports fast wired charging at 80W and wireless charging at 50W, ensuring quicker top-ups for extended use.

Security features include an ultrasonic 3D fingerprint sensor embedded under the display for convenient and secure access. Physical camera buttons on the side provide easy activation of photography modes.

The Honor 500 Pro will be available in several memory configurations:

1. 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage
2. 12 GB RAM + 512 GB storage
3. 16 GB RAM + 512 GB storage
4. 16 GB RAM + 1 TB storage

Color options include Aquamarine, Starlight Powder, Obsidian Black, and Moonlight Silver. Its rear camera module features a horizontal bar design with three circular lenses, contributing to a distinct aesthetic.

Pre-orders for the Honor 500 Pro have already opened in China via official retail channels. The November 24 launch event is expected to generate strong interest among consumers prioritizing advanced photography, battery longevity, and robust performance.

With its cutting-edge camera technology and enhanced hardware, the Honor 500 Pro aims to deliver a compelling experience for photography enthusiasts and high-demand users alike. Its combination of features positions it well against other smartphones in the mid-premium flagship category.
