POCO F7 Series Receives HyperOS 3 Update with Enhanced Performance and New AI Features

POCO has officially rolled out the global update for HyperOS 3 to its F7 and F7 Pro models. This new system software aims to boost device performance and introduce advanced artificial intelligence (AI) features to enhance user experience.

The update is distributed gradually to minimize disruptions across regions. It also strengthens connectivity within Xiaomi’s ecosystem, ensuring smoother interaction between different devices.

Global Rollout Details

The HyperOS 3 update began deployment in late November 2025 via the stable tester channel. POCO F7 Pro received the build numbered HyperOS 3.0.4.0.WOKMIXM, while the POCO F7 got HyperOS 3.0.3.0.WOLMIXM. Xiaomi employs this phased rollout strategy to maintain system stability and reduce performance issues during installation.

This method was previously used during the launch of HyperOS on flagship models like the Xiaomi 14 and Redmi K70 series. Users are advised to check for updates under Settings > About Phone > HyperOS Version > Check for Updates, keeping in mind that availability may vary regionally.

Performance and Efficiency Enhancements

HyperOS 3 primarily focuses on optimizing how system resources are allocated. It intelligently learns user app usage patterns, enabling faster app loading times. Improvements span CPU management, RAM utilization, and background process handling.

As a result, the devices offer increased responsiveness, particularly noticeable during heavy multitasking or prolonged gaming sessions. The update also refines the user interface with smoother animations and uniform visual elements, creating lighter transitions even on devices with varying RAM capacities.

Advanced AI Features Integration

This update brings deeper AI integration previously seen in Xiaomi’s premium models. HyperOS 3 enhances real-time AI-powered subtitle generation and text recognition accuracy, improving accessibility and user convenience.

A notable addition is AI-assisted editing within native apps, which can analyze context to provide automatic suggestions for system navigation, search, and device settings adjustments. Xiaomi plans to release additional AI capabilities through minor updates, aligning with features introduced on flagship devices such as the Xiaomi 14 Ultra and MIX Fold 4.

Strengthened Ecosystem Connectivity with HyperConnect

HyperOS 3 enhances the HyperConnect feature, further improving cross-device connectivity. Users of POCO F7 Series can expect faster file transfers between devices and real-time clipboard synchronization, making multitasking across gadgets more seamless.

IoT device control also benefits from a streamlined architecture, boosting response speed and expanding integration options beyond what was available under previous MIUI versions.

How to Update

Users can initiate the update by accessing their phone’s settings and navigating to the HyperOS version section. The update is offered free of charge as part of Xiaomi’s commitment to extended software support for the POCO F7 Series.

By delivering both performance boosts and cutting-edge AI features, the HyperOS 3 update positions the POCO F7 lineup closer to flagship-level experiences. This reflects Xiaomi’s ongoing effort to unify its device ecosystem under the HyperOS platform while bringing innovation to a wider user base.
