Enter the code on the website and sign in. You’ll see the option to delete your account and may optionally provide a reason. Confirm by clicking “Delete My Account” and selecting Yes.
This instant process permanently deletes your data and profile right away without waiting for the inactivity period.
What Happens After Deletion
Once deleted, your profile name changes to “Deleted Account” on others’ devices and can no longer be restored. Chats, contacts, and media stored on Telegram’s servers will be erased. However, messages already sent to others remain on their devices.
If you decide to return to Telegram later, you must register a new account with your phone number and start fresh without previous chats or contacts.
