Realme C85 Series Launches in Indonesia With IP69 Pro Durability, Starting at Around $135
Realme has officially introduced the C85 Series to the Indonesian market, targeting users seeking durable and affordable smartphones. The series consists of two models: Realme C85 and Realme C85 Pro, both carrying the advanced IP69 Pro certification for superior water and dust resistance.
The IP69 Pro certification is a standout feature, combining four industrial standards—IP69K, IP69, IP68, and IP66—representing the highest water resistance level in this segment. According to Realme, these smartphones can withstand water temperatures up to 100°C and endure steam cleaning, often used in food and manufacturing industries. Moreover, the phones can survive immersion in water up to 1 meter deep and remain functional after 60 days submerged at 0.5 meters. They are also resistant to 36 different liquids including river water, milk, oil, coffee, iced tea, fruit juice, soup broth, and gasoline.
PR Lead of Realme Indonesia, Krisva Angnieszca, stated, "The Realme C85 Series is primarily designed for field workers in Indonesia who need a rugged smartphone that resists hot water, drops, offers long-lasting battery life, and performs well under strong sunlight." Battery and Display Features
On the battery front, both Realme C85 models come equipped with a 7,000mAh capacity using carbon-silicon technology. This can deliver up to 19 hours of video playback and 16 hours of chatting. The phones support 10W reverse charging, allowing them to serve as power banks. Additionally, the inclusion of a Bionic Repair System promises battery longevity for up to six years, a considerable lifespan improvement over average smartphones.
Display specifications vary between the two models. The Realme C85 uses an IPS panel with a brightness of 1,200 nits and a 144Hz refresh rate. In contrast, the Realme C85 Pro sports a first-for-the-series AMOLED panel with 4,000 nits brightness and a 120Hz refresh rate, marking Realme’s initial use of AMOLED within the C-series smartphones.
Performance and Camera
Under the hood, both the Realme C85 and C85 Pro run on a Snapdragon 685 chipset. They offer memory options up to 8GB RAM and internal storage up to 256GB. The devices ship with Realme UI 6, based on Android 15, featuring a transparent Liquid Glass design inspired by iOS 26.
Photo capabilities include a 50MP main camera augmented with AI-powered features such as AI Edit Genie, AI Outdoor Mode, and AI Livephoto, enhancing user creativity and image quality.

The Realme C85 is available in Parrot Purple, Kingfisher Blue, and Swan Black. The Pro variant comes in Parrot Purple and Peacock Green. Both models became available on November 28, 2025, through major e-commerce platforms like Shopee, TikTok Shop, Tokopedia, Lazada, Blibli, and Akulaku.
