POCO F8 Series Launches with Advanced Sound Technology Powered by Bose

POCO has officially launched its new flagship series, the POCO F8 Series, during a global event held in Bali on November 27, 2025. The series includes two impressive models: POCO F8 Ultra and POCO F8 Pro, marking the brand’s bold move into the premium smartphone segment.

A key highlight of this launch is the exclusive collaboration with Bose, introducing Sound by Bose technology to deliver an advanced mobile audio experience. This partnership coincides with POCO’s expansion in the AIoT ecosystem, also unveiling two new tablets: POCO Pad X1 and POCO Pad M1.

Performance and Audio Innovation in POCO F8 Ultra
POCO F8 Ultra stands out with a unique dual-chipset architecture combining the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and the upgraded VisionBoost D8 chipset. This setup achieves an AnTuTu benchmark score exceeding 3.9 million, placing it among the top performers in its class. The phone also features AI Super Resolution technology optimized for popular games like Call of Duty: Mobile and Honkai: Star Rail, enhancing gaming visuals and performance.

The audio system on the F8 Ultra incorporates a triple-speaker 2.1-channel design, delivering two distinct sound profiles: "Dynamic" for deep, authentic bass and "Balanced" for clear vocal reproduction. Nick Smith, President of Bose Audio Technology, expressed enthusiasm about this joint effort, highlighting how acoustic engineering expertise and POCO’s innovation combine to redefine mobile audio quality.

The display technology also received significant upgrades. The POCO HyperRGB screen uses a full RGB subpixel structure, consuming 19.5% less power than previous generations. The 6.9-inch panel with ultra-narrow bezels offers a highly immersive visual experience aided by luminescent M10 materials, boosting luminous efficiency by 11.4%.

Camera capabilities on the F8 Ultra are equally advanced, featuring a 50MP Light Fusion 950 sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and a 5x periscope telephoto lens – a first in the POCO line. Optical zoom reaches up to 5x, while in-sensor zoom hits 10x, and Ultra Zoom goes as far as 20x. Additional features include Motion Capture for sharp images of moving subjects and Super Moon Mode for optimized lunar photography.

Battery life is robust with a 6500mAh cell, the largest in the POCO F series. It supports 100W HyperCharge technology capable of charging the device fully in 38 minutes. Smart charging dynamically adjusts charging speed based on battery level, temperature, and app usage to optimize battery health.

POCO F8 Pro: Balanced Premium Experience
The POCO F8 Pro offers flagship features at a more accessible price point. It runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Mobile Platform and shares the HyperRGB display technology, delivering 2K-level sharpness with 22.3% less power consumption versus its predecessor.

Design-wise, the F8 Pro boasts POCO’s first one-piece milled glass back. Crafted from a single 2mm glass block using CNC cold-carving, it undergoes 41 manufacturing steps to achieve a unique glossy-matte finish that differentiates it from typical glossy or matte backs.

The camera setup includes a 50MP telephoto lens with 2.5x optical and 5x lossless zoom, a first for the POCO Pro lineup. The main camera uses a 50MP Light Fusion 800 sensor with OIS, designed to perform well in challenging lighting conditions.

With a 6210mAh battery, the F8 Pro offers over 16 hours of continuous use. It also supports 100W HyperCharge, achieving full charge in 37 minutes. Cooling is enhanced through LiquidCool Technology with a triple-layer IceLoop 3D system that increases thermal capacity by 40% compared to prior models.

Ecosystem Expansion with POCO Tablets
Alongside the F8 phones, POCO introduced two new tablets to extend its AIoT ecosystem. The POCO Pad X1 targets high-performance users, featuring a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 processor, 8GB RAM, and 512GB storage. Its 11.2-inch 3.2K display runs at 144Hz, supported by an 8850mAh battery with 45W turbo charging.

The POCO Pad M1 caters to entertainment seekers, equipped with a larger 12.1-inch 2.5K screen at 120Hz refresh rate and powered by Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 Mobile Platform. It packs a massive 12,000mAh battery and enhanced audio with quad speakers tuned by Dolby Atmos, capable of boosting volume by up to 300%.

Both tablets operate on Xiaomi’s HyperOS platform, ensuring smooth device integration with POCO smartphones and future updates aligned with HyperOS 3.

POCO’s Global Growth and Brand Evolution
POCO has expanded its presence to 98 global markets, shipping over 93 million units. In 2025, it ranked 35th on the Kantar BrandZ Top 50 Chinese Global Brand Builders list, reflecting significant growth and brand recognition.

This launch signals POCO’s evolution from a value-focused brand to a premium player while maintaining its core promise to deliver cutting-edge technology at competitive prices. The incorporation of Bose’s audio expertise into the F8 Series exemplifies this strategic transformation, offering users high-performance devices with superior sound quality.
