iQOO has officially launched the iQOO 15 in Indonesia, marking the first gaming smartphone in the country to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. The device was introduced on December 2, 2025, and promises an enhanced gaming experience powered by Qualcomm’s latest technology.
The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset on the iQOO 15 is built with 3nm fabrication and third-generation Qualcomm Oryon CPU architecture. This combination boosts CPU performance by 32% and GPU performance by 23%, delivering a powerful platform for gaming and multitasking.
Performance and Gaming Capabilities
In benchmarking tests, the iQOO 15 scores an impressive 4,336,144 points on AnTuTu v11, showcasing its high capability for gaming and graphics-intensive applications. Besides Snapdragon’s chipset, iQOO integrates its proprietary Supercomputing Chip Q3, engineered to optimize graphics processing.
The Q3 system includes three cores: DA Core, RT Core, and AI Core. These work together simultaneously to enhance visual effects, stabilize frame rates, and improve energy efficiency during gaming sessions. Technologies like Self-Developed Ray Tracing and Neural Super Sampling (QNSS) further ensure smoother gameplay with high image quality and reduced latency.
The iQOO 15 supports RAM and storage configurations of 12GB/256GB, 16GB/512GB, and 16GB/1TB, running on OriginOS 6 based on Android 16. The combination of hardware and software aims to elevate mobile gaming and daily use performance.
Display and Visual Technology
The smartphone features a large 6.85-inch AMOLED panel with peak brightness of up to 2600 nits in High Brightness Mode (HBM) and a local peak of 6000 nits. iQOO has included Double Eye Protection Certification from TUV Rheinland alongside Circular Polarization Certification, prioritizing user eye comfort during prolonged usage.

In addition, the iQOO 15 incorporates a Battery Life Extender feature that activates automatically when the battery reaches 1%, helping to prolong overall battery lifespan.
Camera System
For photography, iQOO 15 is equipped with a triple rear camera setup: a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP periscope telephoto sensor with Sony IMX882. The front camera offers a 32MP shooter designed for clear selfies.
AI Visual Effect technology is part of the camera system, providing users with artistic and personalized visual effect options. This addition enhances creative photo and video capture capabilities.
Design and Availability
The iQOO 15 comes in two colors: Legend and Alpha. It features a flat design and holds IP68 and IP69 certifications, making it resistant to water and dust.
