Vivo X300 Pro Debuts 200MP Camera Sensor: Revolutionizing Mobile Photography Quality

Vivo X300 Pro arrives in Indonesia as a flagship smartphone emphasizing professional photography. Its camera system has sparked interest, especially the 200-megapixel telephoto sensor that promises exceptional zoom capability.

Triple Rear Camera Setup with Zeiss Collaboration

The Vivo X300 Pro features three rear cameras equipped with high-quality sensors. The main camera is a 50MP Zeiss Gimbal Grade sensor with advanced optical image stabilization to ensure sharp images. Complementing it is a 200MP Zeiss APO telephoto sensor, the star of the lineup, delivering impressive zoom performance. Additionally, a 50MP Zeiss ultra-wide camera captures landscapes and cityscapes with minimal distortion.

This telephoto sensor uses an ultra sensing HPB technology that produces highly detailed photos, with file sizes ranging from 20 to 30 MB each. It operates exclusively at a focal length of 3.5x zoom, equivalent to 85mm, optimizing image quality for telephoto shots. Vivo integrates a Pro Imaging Chip V1 that focuses on three primary focal lengths—24mm, 50mm, and 85mm. This chip preprocesses RAW data to boost processing speed while reducing power consumption by up to 60%.

Professional Photography Accessories and Extreme Zoom

Vivo supports the X300 Pro with a professional photography kit that includes a phone case, filter adapter ring, lens adapter ring, and a premium font strap. The most notable accessories are the imaging grip and telephoto extender, which transform the smartphone into a device resembling a conventional professional camera.

The grip provides full control features such as adjusting zoom by sliding left or right, exposure control via a dial, and dedicated video and shutter buttons with half-press autofocus functionality. Users can access focal lengths from 200mm up to an extreme 5400mm, making the phone particularly suitable for wildlife photography or candid shots from a great distance without alerting the subject.

AI Landscape Master — Transforming Photo Weather Conditions

The Vivo X300 Pro introduces an AI Landscape Master tool that allows users to alter weather conditions in landscape photos. Similar to Vivo’s AI Four Season Portrait feature, it offers four preset effects: morning glow, clear sky, evening glow, and nightfall. There is also a smart mode that automatically selects the best effect based on location and time.

This feature is particularly helpful when shooting landscapes under unfavorable weather, enabling users to convert dull or overcast skies into dramatic, visually appealing backgrounds with a single tap.

Advanced Front Camera and High-End Performance

The front camera boasts a 50MP Zeiss wide-angle sensor with fast autofocus, significantly enhancing selfie clarity and sharpness compared to previous models. Vivo’s refined high-resolution portrait algorithms ensure detailed selfie captures. Users can activate a dedicated 50MP high-resolution mode for professional-quality portrait photos.

Under the hood, the Mediatek Dimensity 9500 chipset pairs with Vivo’s imaging chip V3 Plus. While the Dimensity 9500 manages overall performance and power efficiency, the V3 Plus focuses on advanced image and video processing. This powerful combination results in an Antutu benchmark score of 3,490,631 points, and Geekbench 6 scores of 3,190 in single-core and 9,892 in multi-core tests, reflecting solid performance for gaming, 4K video recording, and editing on the device. The efficient cooling system ensures balanced heat distribution keeping the device from overheating.

Origin OS for Smooth User Experience

The Vivo X300 Pro is the first Vivo phone outside China to run Origin OS, replacing Funtouch OS. This new operating system offers a smoother and faster user experience with more customization options. Key features include Office Kit for productivity, One Tap Transfer for easy file sharing, and Private Space for data security.

With its combination of advanced camera technologies, powerful hardware, and smart software integration, the Vivo X300 Pro positions itself as the new "Camera King" in 2025. It suits content creators, mobile photographers, and anyone seeking professional-level photography on a smartphone.
