X Luncurkan Fitur Baru “Seen” untuk Mempercepat Pencarian Video yang Pernah Ditonton

Platform X is currently testing a new feature called the “Seen” tab. This feature aims to help users easily track their watched video history within the app.

The “Seen” tab acts like an archive that stores all videos a user has viewed. Nikita Bier, Head of Product at X, shared a screenshot showing the interface of this new tab. Its main function is to assist users in quickly finding videos they previously watched but had difficulty locating again. This feature addresses the common problem where users forget specific details about interesting videos they want to rewatch.

Details about the full scope of the “Seen” tab remain unclear. X has not confirmed whether this feature will store all watched videos indefinitely or keep viewing history for a limited time. However, this idea is similar to history features found on other social media platforms, which have proven useful for revisiting content remembered vaguely by users.

Additional Features Under Testing on X

Besides the “Seen” tab, X is also experimenting with a visual change in the reply section of posts. Comments made by accounts that a user follows will now carry a special icon. This mark makes the followed accounts’ comments more visible in the timeline.

This change is designed to boost interaction and help users focus on conversations with people they follow. All these updates are still in development, and X tends not to announce features officially before release. Instead, they prefer users to discover new functions after testing phases end.

The “Seen” tab is poised to improve video browsing convenience by allowing clear access to one’s viewing history. If implemented fully, it could make rediscovering past content much simpler for platform users.
