Oppo Reno 15 Pro Max and Pro Appear on Geekbench with Dimensity 8450 Chipset
Oppo’s upcoming Reno 15 series is generating buzz as the Pro and Pro Max models have surfaced on Geekbench. These devices are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 processor, signaling a strong performance upgrade from previous generations.
The Geekbench listings reveal that both the Reno 15 Pro Max (model CPH2813) and Reno 15 Pro (model CPH2811) come equipped with 12GB of RAM. They run on Android 16, showing that Oppo will launch these phones with the latest software experience.
In benchmark tests, the Reno 15 Pro Max achieved a single-core score of 1,596 and a multi-core score of 6,124. The Reno 15 Pro slightly edged out with a single-core score of 1,620 and a multi-core score of 6,140. These results align with the performance of the Dimensity 8450, which also powers the Reno 14 Pro.
Key Specifications and Market Plans
The Reno 15 series is expected to debut in January 2026 across multiple markets with several models fitting different user needs. Alongside the Pro and Pro Max, Oppo plans to release the Reno 15 Mini, Reno 15, and Reno 15F with 4G and 5G variants.
In China, the lineup will specifically include the Reno 15c, Reno 15, and Reno 15 Pro. The Reno 15c differs slightly by using the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset and a larger 6,200mAh battery, compared to the 6,500mAh cells in the Pro models.
Screen sizes vary between models: the Reno 15 sports a 6.32-inch display, while the Pro features a larger 6.78-inch screen. All of these devices have a 50MP front camera. The rear camera setup of the standard Reno 15 and the Pro includes a triple 50MP sensor array, while the Reno 15c adds an 8MP secondary camera for more versatility.
Charging and Additional Features
All Reno 15 models support 80W wired fast charging, ensuring quick battery top-ups. However, only the Pro versions will provide 50W wireless charging, catering to users who prefer a cable-free experience.
This chipset choice and configuration hint at Oppo’s commitment to delivering high performance and competitive features at a potentially accessible price point. Consumers can expect enhanced speed, multitasking, and efficient power management with these new units.
With official teasers yet to be released, enthusiasts look forward to more detailed specifications and pricing information closer to the January launch. The inclusion of Dimensity 8450 in both Pro-level models suggests Oppo is aiming to balance cost and power effectively for diverse markets.
