Lenovo has officially launched the Watch GT Pro, a new smartwatch designed for users with active lifestyles and outdoor enthusiasts. Unveiled in China on December 25, 2025, this device features advanced GPS technology and an impressively long battery life to meet the demands of mobile users.
The most notable innovation in the Watch GT Pro is its dual-frequency GPS system. This technology offers highly precise location tracking even in difficult environments like dense urban areas, mountainous regions, and natural trails. The accuracy is further enhanced through integrated sensors including an altimeter, barometer, and digital compass. This combination makes the smartwatch ideal for activities such as hiking, trail running, and long-distance cycling.
Lenovo equips the Watch GT Pro with a 470 mAh lithium polymer battery. In power-saving mode, it can last up to 27 days. Under regular, intensive usage, the battery endurance is estimated at about 7 days. Charging is done via a magnetic cable, requiring roughly three hours for a full recharge.
The Watch GT Pro sports a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels. The screen quality ensures clear and vibrant visuals, protected by Corning glass to resist scratches. The watch’s construction uses a zinc-magnesium alloy frame, a reinforced nylon back with fiberglass, stainless steel buttons, and a soft silicone strap. This design provides durability and comfort suitable for both everyday wear and strenuous workouts.
Supporting more than 170 sports modes, Lenovo’s new smartwatch covers both indoor and outdoor exercises. It holds a 5ATM water-resistance certification, enabling safe use during swimming up to 50 meters deep. For swimmers, the Watch GT Pro tracks various parameters including stroke type, speed, lap count, workout duration, and estimated calories burned.
Health monitoring features are comprehensive. The smartwatch continuously tracks heart rate and blood oxygen saturation (SpO2), analyzes sleep quality with detailed insights into light, deep, and REM sleep stages, monitors stress levels, and offers guided breathing exercises. These tools provide users with detailed health metrics to support overall well-being.
Connectivity-wise, the Lenovo Watch GT Pro utilizes Bluetooth 5.3 and is compatible with both Android and iOS platforms. Users can make and receive calls directly from the watch, access call history, and view notifications without needing to check their smartphones.
In the Chinese market, the Watch GT Pro is priced at 899 yuan (approximately $130 USD). There is no confirmed schedule yet for a global release or availability in other countries including Indonesia.
Overall, Lenovo’s Watch GT Pro offers a powerful combination of highly accurate GPS navigation, extended battery life, diverse sports modes, and health tracking features. It targets active users and outdoor adventurers seeking a durable and feature-rich smartwatch to enhance their performance and lifestyle.
