Infinix has officially introduced its flagship smartphone, the Infinix Note 60 Ultra, at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) event in Barcelona, Spain. The company plans to bring this flagship device to the Indonesian market starting from April 2026, following the earlier launch of the Infinix Ultra 60 Pro before Eid.
This new Infinix Note model features a fresh design crafted by the legendary Italian automotive designer Pininfarina. Known for designing luxury supercars like Ferrari, Pininfarina has created a unique Uni-Chassis Cam Module for the Note 60 Ultra. This horizontally elongated camera module extends across the entire back panel and is made with a black glossy finish coated with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, which integrates smoothly and evenly into the smartphone body.
Distinctive Design by Pininfarina
Unlike typical camera bumps seen on smartphones, the Uni-Chassis Cam Module includes curved edges on the sides, a clean frontal look, and a subtle red line accent at the lower middle section. This module also includes a light strip that lights up when the device is powered on. Infinix calls this feature the “Active Matrix Display,” which serves as a notification and animation hub featuring Glyph-style typography reminiscent of computer fonts.
Jordan, Product Marketing Manager for Infinix Indonesia, explained that the company will introduce the Note 60 Ultra in four elegant colors inspired by motorsports and culture history: Torino Black, Monza Red, Amalfi Blue, and Roma Silver. These premium colorways are intended to symbolize the smartphone’s ties to speed, performance, and artistic heritage.
Advanced Camera System with 200 MP Sensor
One of the standout features of the Infinix Note 60 Ultra is its powerful camera setup. The main rear sensor is a 200-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HPE, supported by a 50-megapixel telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom. A third camera on the rear is an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens with a 112-degree field of view. The device also supports XDR Ultra HDR video recording, a first in Infinix’s smartphone lineup. The front camera offers a resolution of 32 megapixels with an f/2.2 aperture, suitable for clear selfies and video calls.
Satellite Communication Capabilities
Beyond the photographic excellence, the Note 60 Ultra offers a unique communication feature—two-way satellite messaging and voice calls. This functionality enables users to stay connected even outside traditional cellular coverage zones. Unlike many smartphone emergency SOS functions that only allow limited messaging, Infinix’s implementation supports broader interaction across satellite networks. The company claims its satellite communication coverage surpasses most competitors currently on the market.
Performance and Display Technology
Under the hood, Infinix Note 60 Ultra is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate chipset fabricated with 4 nm technology. This chipset is paired with a sizeable 12 GB RAM and 256 GB internal storage, apt for high-end multitasking and storage needs. The display is a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with a sharp resolution of 1208 x 2644 pixels and a refresh rate of 144 Hz for fluid animations and smooth scrolling. The screen brightness can reach up to 1,600 nits, protected by Gorilla Glass 7i, delivering durability and excellent visibility even under bright sunlight.
Battery and Charging
The smartphone houses a large 7,000mAh battery. It supports fast wired charging at 100 watts and wireless charging at 50 watts. According to Infinix, the full charge from 1% to 100% can be achieved in just around 48 minutes, minimizing downtime for users on the go.
Software and Updates
The Note 60 Ultra runs on XOS 16 based on the latest Android 16 operating system. Infinix commits to providing three years of OS updates and five years of security patches, ensuring the phone remains current and secure over an extended period.
Pricing and Availability
Globally, the Infinix Note 60 Ultra is priced starting at approximately $760 USD, which is about 12.8 million Indonesian Rupiah. The Indonesian release is scheduled for April 2026, following the launch of the Infinix Ultra 60 Pro earlier in the same year.
Jordan from Infinix Indonesia indicated that bringing the Note 60 Ultra to Indonesia aims at strengthening the brand’s presence in the premium smartphone segment. The focus is on delivering sophisticated design, high-end specifications, and innovative features not commonly found in this price range.
