Realme C100 4G Goes Official, 8,000mAh Battery That Can Power Other Phones

Realme has officially introduced the C100 4G in Vietnam, positioning the device as a new entry in its C-series with a clear focus on battery life. The standout feature is its 8,000 mAh battery, which is paired with 10W reverse wired charging, allowing the phone to act as a backup power source for other devices.

The launch also sets the C100 4G apart from the earlier C100 5G model. While the 5G version uses a 7,000 mAh battery and a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, the 4G variant shifts attention to endurance by using the MediaTek Helio G92 Max and a larger battery capacity.

A battery built for long days

Realme says the 8,000 mAh battery can support up to 23 hours of nonstop video streaming. The company also claims the phone can last around 20 hours for navigation and about 13 hours for gaming on a single charge.

Those numbers make the C100 4G appealing for users who spend much of the day away from a charger. Devices with this kind of battery capacity are often attractive in the budget and midrange segments, where long-lasting performance matters as much as raw specifications.

More than a phone, a power backup tool

The 10W reverse wired charging feature adds another practical layer to the device. It lets the C100 4G share power with another phone, which can be useful during travel, commutes, or situations where a charger is not available.

This function gives the handset a role beyond ordinary daily use. In emergency scenarios, it can serve as a temporary power bank without requiring extra accessories.

Large display with a smooth refresh rate

On the front, the Realme C100 4G comes with a 6.8-inch IPS LCD screen with HD+ resolution. The display supports a 120Hz refresh rate, 1,200 nits of peak brightness, and ArmorShell protection for added durability.

A big panel and a high refresh rate usually improve the experience for scrolling, reading, and watching videos. Although the resolution is not as sharp as more premium screens, the overall display package remains competitive for its class.

Camera and memory options

For photography, Realme equips the C100 4G with a 50MP main rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture. The rear setup also includes a second lens, although the official reference does not specify its resolution.

The front camera uses an 8MP sensor placed inside a centered punch-hole cutout. Buyers can choose between 6GB or 8GB of RAM, while storage options include 128GB and 256GB, giving the device a wider range of configurations for different user needs.

Price and availability

Realme offers the C100 4G in three color options: white, purple, and black. In Vietnam, the starting price is 7,690,000 Vietnamese dong, which is around $303 based on the cited GSM Arena data.

For now, the phone is only available in Vietnam. Realme has not confirmed whether the C100 4G will reach Indonesia or other markets, so buyers outside Vietnam still need to wait for an official distribution announcement.

The C100 4G adds a practical option to Realme’s lineup by combining a large battery, reverse charging, and a 120Hz display in one affordable package. Its strongest appeal will likely come from users who prioritize battery life first and want a phone that can also help keep other devices powered on the move.
