Motorola’s Moto G Stylus (2026) has officially gone on sale in the United States and Canada, giving the midrange lineup a new model that pairs a built-in stylus with Android 16 straight out of the box. The phone also leans on a 120Hz AMOLED display, a large battery, and a durable body, making it one of the more feature-packed options in its segment.
In the U.S., the device is available unlocked through Motorola’s official store, Best Buy, and Amazon. It is also offered through Google Fi Wireless, while wider carrier availability is set to follow through Spectrum Mobile, Cricket Wireless, AT&T, Xfinity Mobile, and Optimum Mobile.
Pricing and color options
Motorola is selling the Moto G Stylus (2026) in two finishes in the U.S.: Pantone Lavender Mist and Pantone Coal Smoke. Two memory configurations are also available, with the 8GB/128GB version priced at $499.99 and the 8GB/256GB model listed at $599.99.
For buyers choosing the 256GB version from Motorola’s own store, the company is bundling extra accessories at no additional cost. The package includes a Moto Watch, a Moto Tag, and a pair of Moto Buds Loops.
Canada gets a more limited release. Motorola’s local site offers the phone unlocked with only one configuration, featuring 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. That version is available only in Pantone Coal Smoke and carries a price of CAD699.99.
Display, battery, and software
The device is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3, placing it firmly in the midrange category while keeping the focus on everyday efficiency. On the front, Motorola uses a 6.7-inch AMOLED panel with a 1220p resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, a combination aimed at smoother scrolling and more responsive visuals.
Battery capacity is another major selling point. The Moto G Stylus (2026) comes with a 5,200 mAh battery, backed by 68W wired charging and 15W wireless charging. That mix gives the phone a stronger charging package than many rivals in the same class.
Software is equally straightforward, with Android 16 installed from day one. That makes the phone feel current at launch and adds appeal for users who want the latest version without waiting for an update.
Cameras, security, and the stylus advantage
For imaging, Motorola equips the phone with a 32MP front camera for selfies and video calls. Around the back, there is a 50MP main camera paired with a 13MP ultrawide lens, giving the device a setup that prioritizes the primary sensor while still offering flexibility for wider shots.
Security is handled by an in-display fingerprint sensor, keeping the front design clean and modern. The stylus remains the feature that sets the Moto G Stylus (2026) apart from most midrange phones, since it supports quick note-taking, simple sketches, document markup, and more precise navigation.
Motorola has also given the phone IP68 and IP69 protection, extending that durability to the stylus as well. With a built-in pen, wireless charging, a large battery, and high-level water and dust resistance, the Moto G Stylus (2026) arrives as a distinct option in North America’s midrange market.
