Casio’s Edifice EQB-1300 is edging closer to a wider European release, and the clearest signal so far is its appearance on official Casio online stores in the Netherlands, Spain, and Germany. The lineup currently includes three variants that are all marked as “coming soon,” suggesting that the rollout has reached a late pre-launch stage.
The models listed are the EQB-1300D-2A with a blue dial, the EQB-1300D-5A with a brown dial, and the EQB-1300DC-3A with a green dial. Their presence across multiple official storefronts strengthens earlier leaks and points to a premium steel chronograph that is very close to reaching customers in Europe.
A slim steel build with a premium finish
The EQB-1300 is positioned as a slim analog watch with a refined stainless steel construction. Its case measures 46.5 x 39.5 x 9.5 mm, giving it a thinner profile than many steel watches with modern connectivity features.
Casio pairs the solid stainless steel case with an H-link bracelet and a three-fold stainless steel clasp. The surface treatment combines brushed and polished finishes, while the bezel adds mirror and hairline finishing to keep the design clean and technical at the same time.
Among the three versions, the EQB-1300DC-3A stands out because it uses an ion-plated finish. That treatment explains why it is positioned above the other two in price, even though the overall design language remains the same.
Dial design with an automotive character
Casio gives the dial a look inspired by car interiors, using metallic tones and textures to reinforce that theme. The applied hour markers are prominent, and the layered subdials create more depth without making the display feel crowded.
Inset elements sit on the same plane as the main dial, which helps the face look detailed while staying balanced. The result fits Edifice’s familiar identity: sporty, but still polished enough for everyday wear in more formal settings.
Core features for daily use
The EQB-1300 keeps a practical analog layout with three hands and includes a date window, day indicator, and 24-hour subdial. It also offers a 1-second stopwatch, a full automatic calendar, and a low battery alert.
For protection and durability, Casio equips the watch with sapphire crystal and 100 meters of water resistance. Those specifications place the model in a category that is designed for both style and regular daily use.
Bluetooth and Tough Solar support
The watch also connects to a smartphone through Bluetooth using the Casio Watches app. Once paired, it can synchronize time automatically and adjust for daylight saving time without manual setup.
The app adds extra functions such as Phone Finder and Time and Place, while several settings can be managed directly from the phone. Casio also includes Tough Solar, which lets the watch draw power from sunlight or indoor light and reduces the need for battery replacement.
Official pricing in Europe
Casio has already listed pricing on its European stores. The EQB-1300D-2A and EQB-1300D-5A are both priced at €279, while the EQB-1300DC-3A is listed at €329 because of its ion-plated finish.
The current official prices are:
- EQB-1300D-2A — blue dial — €279
- EQB-1300D-5A — brown dial — €279
- EQB-1300DC-3A — green dial — €329
With its slim steel case, sapphire crystal, Bluetooth connectivity, and Tough Solar system, the EQB-1300 is shaping up as a premium analog option for buyers who want a modern Edifice watch with a strong mechanical look. For now, the “coming soon” label keeps attention on Casio’s next move as the European launch draws nearer.
